Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 11.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
To anyone reading this, this game is one of the few games to have a grown man weeping and breaking down in tears by the end of the game. I love this game dearly and would recommend anyone who loves rpgs and story rich games to try it out even if you do not like final fantasy. You should try out the original on the ps2 for the entire experience but overall the remaster is what it is, a remaster and it does that job fine though expect crashes and bugs.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It's such a shame that a game like Final Fantasy X has such a lousy port on PC. I played through the PS2 version before but didn't get around to finishing it for whatever reasons. I decided to try this version to avoid doing a whole setup with all the patches etc. to get the playstation version running again, but banging my head against the wall over this port probably ended up taking longer. I think I have it in a working state now and I would say that after all the fixes and extra stuff, this is likely the definitive version of FFX. But in the end, I had to use mods out of necessity rather than as add-ons. Square would be happy to charge you another 50 bucks for that upcoming Switch 2 'Remaster' releasing around the 25th Anniversary though. I guess the only silver lining is that these days the game is at least inexpensive on PC but even so, if it wasn't for this gem of a game, I would've just refunded this mess of a port.
just emulate it because Square Enix doesn't want to fix their cutscenes bugging out and green screening
FFX/X-2共にムービーでグリーンバッグ、プレイ中に強制終了、データも残らず。。。 名作なのにいつまでたっても修正されず本当に残念です。
Playing FFX again after all these years is a truly lovely thing. I adore the story and gameplay just as much now as i did on the PS2. So why the thumbs down? IT'S BROKEN. Wasn't in game 15 min before a cutscene just turned into a green screen, and the game crashed randomly over and over. Found a LOT of posts in various places online about these issues from the day it came out until now all these years later. DID find a fix by downloading a 4GB patch program, but WHY do we have to fix it to play a game they haven't bothered fixing in TEN YEARS? It doesn't matter what your pc specs are, this issue is in the game's launcher itself apparently. That said, the patch found seems to have fixed it greatly as there's been no issue afterwards in 10 hours of play. So yea, game's great, but SE can eat it for both releasing it buggy and not fixing it in 10 bloody years!
It is a great game , however not on steam. crashes, unable to use controller when you launch the game and other isseus. I also don't understand why this game is for sale if it needs to be moded to be playable on controller. It is a shame really and an embarrcement for steam and for the people that buy this port, no updates to speak of, like always seems to be a money grab in my opinion.
Square Enix is too big of a company to not fix their broken products. It has been 10 years and they still cannot be bothered to address the crashing and green screen issues with this release.
I bought this in 2021 and it used to run absolutely fine. Fast‑forward to 2026 and the FFX Steam port has fallen apart on modern hardware. I’m seeing characters not loading in (Tidus is invisible), missing floor geometry, and performance tanking to 6 FPS in places like Baaj Temple. This isn’t a settings issue — it’s the port itself. Something about newer GPUs/CPUs or updated drivers clearly breaks the game, and Square Enix hasn’t patched it in years. Right now the game is borderline unplayable. If SE expects people to keep buying this, they need to fix it. Otherwise most players with newer hardware will refund it instantly.
25 years later and this game holds up. The gameplay is good even if the game has a handfull of dificulty spikes which requires you to grind to get past them. But the story is still so great and emotional. If you are going to buy this game you will need to run a little program to fix green screen issues. Look up green screen fix FFX on google or 4GB patch FFX and you will find the solution. Beyond this initial problem the game runned good on my personal pc.
