Just beat it for the first time on normal difficulty. Would recommend.
Movement and combat is actually the worst of any video game ive ever played

Genuinely really fun pone game! Plays quite well while being surprisingly tough. Mares, I love them!
Me encantó, la potranca es re tierna pero los controles son un poco toscos. A punishing and brutal adventure platforming game, yet at no point did I ever feel like something was the fault of bad control or gameplay. If you're looking for a light and breezy game experience, give this a pass. It's not NICE. But it's very rewarding to a person who welcomes challenge. The aesthetics of the graphics and foley is very engrossing at all, you might even stop thinking of this as a pony game.
Had so much fun completing it. And another pony game I 100%ed. Defo worth the money.
Really fun and challenging game with a lot of replay value, it has a few frustrating parts but nothing in particular that feels unfair except for the combos of some enemies that are kind of broken. The controls felt just a little sluggish at first but after I got used to it and I had no problem with platforming or fighting. The collectibles are also very well hidden and require knowledge of the game's mechanics (for example there is a gem shard thingy that requires you to do a sort of double jump which you can only perform by jumping, then pressing S, W and attacking in quick succession). One annoying thing though is that when quicktraveling back to the sewers you have to refight the first boss every time you get back to the boss arena, which is most likely a bug. The final boss requires exremely precise gameplay, it took me about 15 minutes to beat in normal mode and nearly an hour in hard mode (I doubt I'll ever beat brutal), however most deaths felt like they were my fault, with only a few attempts really being unfair. The graphics are also very beautiful, there's a clear art direction throughout the entire game and no part of the scenery feels particularly out of place. The animations all feel really smooth as well despite the low framerate. The only thing I don't like though, which a lot of those pixel art games do is that the pixel sizes are inconsistent, especially on particles like dripping water or the trails of projectiles like spears. This might just be a personal thing but I found it kind of sad that every graphic in this game is beautifully animated pixel art but then the wolf thingy boss is just a pixelated 3d render, this really broke immersion for me... That the game finally went on sale is pretty nice, since the original price of the game is rather steep for the amount content it has to offer, setting it to 8, or maybe 6€ would've helped a lot. On another note, this game actually runs on Windows 7! It's rare that indie games that claim to run on older operating systems actually work, but this game ran just fine. There's probably more stuff I could mention but this review is long enough already, One more thing I'll say though is that if you go into your save file and change the "color" attribute to 2, You unlock a pretty rad looking character :D
