Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The devs are doing that thing where they release a Quest version, and then downgrade the PCVR version to match it. Please stop doing this.
This is an awesome game at it's core. Unfortunately, the game looks nothing like all of the screenshots because everything was made crappier for some other VR system. The graphics look like, or worse than, graphics back in 2016 when I first started playing VR. The controls are also a hot mess. Climbing doesn't work at all. You have to release one hand completely for about one second, then move, and it still feels wrong. The wrong spells are used quite frequently. Following the instructions of a review here, I was able to downgrade the game to a previous version. Graphics were improved, but there were some drawbacks. The sounds are worse. You can hear enemies that are supposed to be hiding even when the encounter is quite far. However, all of the motion controls worked way better for me in the older version. Climbing was fixed. I'm using an HTC Vive with Valve Index controllers. It's a shame to have to leave a thumbsdown for this game. The magic is quite fun and works great with the controls. All of the spells have more than one function and feel intuitive with the Index controllers. Very satisfying to use. And unlike some games like this, I felt I could use pretty much all of them effectively together and didn't just get locked into one spell. Though there is one that is completely OP and sorta gets used a lot towards the end. I will repost the downgrade instructions again, in case someone doesn't see the review I saw. The solution below was posted by DexgamingX: 1. Win + R to open Run 2. Copy and paste this in the Run window and hit enter: steam://open/console 3. The previous command adds the Console menu to the top of Steam, all the way to the right of Store, Library, etc. 4. Copy and paste this into the Console and hit enter: download_depot 1103860 1103861 8678823462881895640 5. Nothing will show up to indicate download progress, just give it some time. 6. When it's complete, it will tell you where the download is. It will be a folder called WindowsNoEditor. 7. In your Library, right click the game, Manage, Browse Local Files. 8. I did this about a month ago, so I'm not 100% sure, but I believe there is already a folder in there called WindowsNoEditor, which you delete and replace it with the downloaded WindowsNoEditor folder. There will be a few other folders in here that I did not touch. 9. In your Library, right click the game again, properties, updates, and select "Only update this game when I launch it." This worked for me and was a much better experience. Thanks to DexgamingX for posting this solution. I wouldn't have played it otherwise, as it looked like hot garbage and the controls were terrible. Great game at it's core, but this is definitely bait and switch.

They arent fixing quest 3 controller issue where the angles point 90 degrees up wich makes this unplayable, they said they were gonna fix it 3 years ago, wish i could refund it. give me my money back please
Can't recommend this game, maybe the game is good, but I can't say because it's unplayable with HTC Vive (1st gen) controllers, I tried multiple time to contact the devs, in the discussions on steam, via email, via their discord, same result each time: I got ignored, not just not answered but totaly ignored because some most recent messages were answered on their discord. So if you have an HTC Vive or if you're not sure the game support your headset DON'T buy this game.
pulling the trigger to create an open hand is at best a questionable decision. having to pull the trigger for spells is wildly uncomfortable. keeping the trigger pulled to keep spell active is worse. there is no way to change this frankly absurd control scheme. the original menu is fine, but once your in-game most settings in the pause screen are on the same screen, would be fine on a monitor but in vr the text gets hard to read and interact with.
I wish I bought this on steam instead of G2A so I could refund it. Graphics are genuinely horrible, gestures don’t work half the time which makes the combat incredibly frustrating. Don’t waste your money.
Index user: I wanted to love this game, but I just couldn't... Pros: It is beautiful, though I had to reduce shadows and post process by one notch. Beyond that is seem to run rather smooth. Cons: I did not enjoy the level design/layout there are SO MANY places where it looks like you should be able to walk or teleport to, but invisible walls are EVERYWHERE Prop hitboxes must be cubes... I found myself bumping into invisible corners, and spells that can't travel through gaps in broken walls or around more organic shaped edges. Combat can only be described as a CHORE. Archers have godlike Minecraft Skeleton accuracy, and a completely unfair rate of fire. Victory never felt good or fulfilling. This MIGHT be a index specific issue, but the climbing mechanic is ****ing broken. So much so the devs included an option to skip the climbing parts by grabbing a floating teleport icon. TLDR: It's pretty but gameplay is lacking and there are still basic mechanics that need a huge overhaul.
I don't like to post bad reviews but it's been a long time since I've seen that. This game is unfinished. from the jank climbing to the never ending enemy spam. From the guy talking nonsense to you to the cliché bad guy. The game can be summed up as [walking and/or climbing section] -> [battle section] -> repeat. The climbing is jank : - you grab the first hold : works as most VR climbing - you grab the second hold while still holding the first : your second hand position will move just like your body. Hard to explain but you'll keep seeing your second hand where you initially grabbed the second hold and a ghost hand where it really is ... It makes me think that this ghost hand is a helper they used for development but they never get rid of the bug and kept the helper in the game for the player to understand what happens ... this is not even a beginner's mistake, it's a common sense issue. Well, I understand that if they couldn't get rid of the bug they couldn't get rid of the climbing as it's half the game ... the battles are repetitive : - enemy spam - classic fire beats ice, ice beats fire, ... - way too many enemies - the magic sometime don't work very well - was this inspired by super mario maker enemy spam levels ? - you can clearly see how enemies spawn in waves after you've beaten x enemies - did I mention the quantity of enemies ? - some enemies have a lot of health points - how on earth anybody thought that combining HP bags enemies and enemy spam would be a good idea ? the teleporter placement : sometime during fights you walk backward but the teleporter to the hub is active during fights, meaning that I entered it multiple times by accident. Having to redo the fight (as if it was not repetitive enough). And the grand finale : I was close to beating the game and I accidentaly walk in the teleporter as I mentionned before. As I was not very happy, I just looked around and learned what the rocky table does in the hub. it lets you chose the level. Did you know that if you change level you cannot go back to where you were before if you were already far into the level ? I learned that the hard way. I am sorry, I do not like to give bad reviews but I cannot recommend this game. It is unfinished and feels like the devs didn't have time to polish anything. So many problems would have been obvious if the game had been playtested more.
되게 잘만든게 느껴지지만, 길찾기가 살짝 어렵고 너무 어지러움
Works on Reverb G2. This is a neutral recommendation. New Wizards improves almost every aspect of the original, but playing it in 2026 adds some unexpected drawbacks like downgraded visuals and existence of much better games in the same niche genre like Rumble and Elements Divided. The only thing TW-DT has over those titles is a proper single player campaign. Magical combat here is still fun though: the game does not shy away from challenging encounters that will require player to mix smooth and teleport locomotion with shield blocking to survive. Enemy AI uses movement tracking to calculate projectile trajectory, so it can not be beaten by simple circle strafing. The only time when the difficulty feels too much is during the end of The Rend level, when the game throws at you 2 ice elementals at the same time. Spellcasting is intuitive and satisfying, but it is spoiled a bit by a shoddy gesture recognition. I summoned fireball instead of a shield way too many times. TW1 had the same problem, it should not have been too hard to solve, since Rumble and ED do not suffer from it, while having a lot more spell combinations. Another weird issue is abundance of visual impairment effects: some elemental effects on player have a colorful vignette in addition to the red one for general hits, that takes almost half of the screen. Add to that bright flashes during shield blocks and failure to dodge enemy attacks leaves player half-blind for a short moment. Terrain hitboxes are imprecise, making shootouts near covers very awkward. Luckily they are rare and most spells have a small AoE splash damage, that still hits the enemy despite colliding with invisible environment borders. The game also lacks physical hands and head, but it is understandable for a 2020 release. Finally, it is hard not to address an elephant in the room: visuals were severely downgraded with Brotherhood update. Lighting was improved in several patches after that, but the textures are still quite low-res, leaving otherwise beautiful game looking mediocre.
