For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. Centuries ago, a brutal beast of destruction rent the world asunder. In this time of need, the first Immortals came into their uncanny powers, powers so great that they succeeded in destroying the beast ravaging the land, where all else had failed.
To prevent such destruction from ever happening again, the Immortals banded together to form a Council that would enforce order and stability on a global scale, stepping in at any hint of war or chaos.
The Immortals might be vastly powerful, but they are few. Even they can't oversee all of the lands. This is why they rely upon their mortal agents, the Arbiters, to guard the land's people from the more day-to-day dangers they face. Arbiters range over the land, rooting out bandits, unruly monsters, and crooked officials; their word is law.
But one Arbiter uncovers the deepening corruption pervading her own order, and it falls to her to halt the spread of a threat as dire as the brutal beast of yore.
Strongly influenced by games such as Final Fantasy Tactics (original and Advance versions) and Tactics Ogre, this tactical RPG stands on its own as a worthy successor of those classics, bringing a slew of improvements and additions to the tactics genre.

Great game play, great upgrade and class system, abilities, and story, any fan of Final Fantasy tactics or Fire Emblem will probably really like this.
Let's cut a long story short, if you are looking for a Final Fantasy Tactics type game then this is the closest you are going to get. Fell Seal wears its inspiration on its sleeve and doesn't hide it. It implements the whole job system well and there is plenty of scope for experimenting with different builds. One of my favourite features of FFT was the Auto-Battle system where you can see how your build handles a specific fight but you can also use it to play the game for you if you want! The AI behind Auto-Battle is not very refined and I have seen it make some silly mistakes but on the whole it works well. One of the most divisive aspects of the game is the art style. I found it a little jarring at the very beginning but grew to enjoy it as I played. It is certainly unique and I don't think I have come across many with a similar visual identity as Fell Seal. I count myself as a fan of the art style now. As mentioned earlier the great variety of builds between human and non-human characters is staggering, there were times when I felt there was too much especially on the non-human side where I felt less invested. I got through the game with pretty much human characters only which I found more interesting personally. There are a few spots where the game stutters, plot and in some of the battle balancing. On the plot side, if you have played RPGs before then you can see plot twists a mile away. The plot moves at a very slow pace so that one mile plot twist you have uncovered feels like many miles until you get to the scene where it is revealed. Likewise some of the interactions between characters feel forced, for example the antagonistic relationship between some of your party members is not that well developed and interesting to follow. The plot is serviceable to hold the game together but clearly not the focus of the game. The other weakness is in enemies spamming heal and reinforcements at times which makes the battles like inordinately longer than they should, it is a balancing issue which sadly can no longer be fixed since game is not under active development. It is much more of an issue on harder difficulty levels. Altogether Fell Seal is a great homage to FFT and has sealed (no pun intended) a place in the list of games that scratch the FFT itch. It has its flaws but ultimately delivers on the enjoyment front, hopefully the developer has more games cooking in the future. I give it a 7.5/10.

I don't think anything can redeem a game where a 97% hit will miss the enemy, the enemy proceeds to kill the character permanently and I have to reload, not once, not twice but many times over throughout the 37 or so hours I have spent on this game at this point. I don't think I am even at halfway through the game. At a higher difficulty the enemy composition just spams advanced classes with better items and would either have level parity or even higher than my current team. If I grind jobs, my level increases and the enemy gains access to rare classes and equipment. Oftentimes the entire encounter feels like RNG, depending on enemy composition and the actions that they take. Maybe I am not playing it right, but it is frustrating how much time is wasted just attempting to win a battle and progress the story. When you win the battle and characters sustain injuries, I have to spend like 10 minutes just going back to a beginner area to waste a battle and recover the members. How do one even survive an onslaught of enemies with 6 members against potentially 10 or more enemies with ranged attacks, magic spells and worst of all, skills to remove dead members from the fight? I can't even resurrect them to rejoin. The unique characters don't even have especially powerful classes or skills to help the encounters. In fact, they get locked out of the rare classes.
Locked female protagonist. So incredibly wack
I really liked the variety of classes. This game reminded me a lot of FF Tactics and Tactics Advance, which are two of my favorite TRPGs. The environments are very cool and the music was not bad. One of my favorite things in games is being able to customize units. This game has that in droves. You can change the appearance of the unit and even their portrait. I read that you can even import your own portraits somehow. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who likes TRPGs
I found this game very enjoyable. Clearly inspired by old TRPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics, with polished gameplay, a compelling storyline and enjoyable characters. Each character can swap classes after every fight, and can mix a primary class, a secondary class and passive abilities, which makes for some interesting combos once you progress deeper into each skill tree and unlock equipment with increasingly unique characteristics. The fact that stat increases for level ups are tied to the class which is active at the moment is a bit of a hassle if you want to level up effectively, because you have to go back and forth with swapping and managing xp gains in order to not waste level ups on stat combinations which don't fit the role you intend the character to have. The town missions help mitigate this a bit, as they allow to unlock skills without gaining xp. The main campaign is long and flashed out, the boss encounters are varied and interesting, and you can go out of your way to look for secrets, sidequests and unlock if you want more. Not as bonkers as the infinite item worlds of Disgaea, but I'm all for a more focused experience.
This game really is a hidden gem. If you like strategy games, and particularly old school tactics like Final Fantasy Tactics and Vandal Hearts, I can highly recommend Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark. While the first impact was not great, particularly in terms of graphics, the game grew on me quickly and within a few hours I knew I was dealing with a very solid title. The plot is alright, nothing spectacular but good enough for a game of this genre. Characters are overall likeable. Combat is well designed, maps are different and engaging. But where the game truly shines is the class system and the personalization available to the player. There's huge potential in finding combos, mixing abilities and really giving each unit a unique approach to combat. I'd give this game an overall 8 or even 8.5/10.
Is pretty good, art style is just about the only thing that threw me off but looking forward to what comes next
