Fun dungeon crawler type game. I've loved the Fate series since I was a kid - nice to be able to play it again

A fun continuation to FATE just replaying through the series before touching Reawakened they simplified the enchanting and adjusted how much fishing the first FATE tended to crutch on in the long run pretty neat update to the gameplay loop. Sidenote for who ever decided on Hardcore and its modifiers i truly wish you stub your toe on a spike dont touch that mode unless youre trying to 100% genuinely worst way to play this series makes you grind gold and enchant for ages to get a fighting chance before having repeat the process after about 5-10 floors just awful minmax hell.
Classic banger - really fun (but short) Great game overall
Do not buy this game. There are many balancing issues with it's grind that are rectified in the sequel. I played this through on legendary diff and here are some of the things I noticed. 1. The level scaling for the monsters when moving between floors is ridiculously high compared to the OG make things a real slog to get through. 2. The loot DOES NOT scale with the monsters level, so you will be fighting lvl 100 creatures that drop basic clubs and axes in floor 10. And if you know this game you NEED money, and in this game you NEED better gear to get over point #1. 3. Having the 2 towns sucks since you have to walk between them, and the main hub, in order to access either of the dungeons. Not that big of a deal until you realize that... 4. Only the second town has the 2 MOST important utilities in the game in it, storage and the enchanter. 5. The most effective way to grind is to do each dungeon in tandem so as to not overwhelm yourself with the BS level scaling. All of these things are better rectified in Traitor Soul. Things were scaled back to be more similar to the OG in that game. At least for the first 3 dungeons anyways. I'm not going to go into the specifics of how Traitor Soul does more as there are plenty of other reviews that will tell you. But trust me it is a far better experience than this version.
3 years later erectile disfunction devs still can't give you anything other than an auto attack. 3 dungeons instead of 1 - 3 times more the same boring insufferable ♥♥♥♥, but now they require you to play their unbalanced Hardcore crap just to close all 10 achievements.
lots of Quest fun to play
Game is very good and enjoyable. I always choose Magic because Magic in the Fate series is broken and overpowered. Fate series is my all time favorite dungeon crawler. I would recommend this game and the entire Fate series to anybody who loves fantasy and dungeon crawler games.
There is no balance in this game. You enter level 13 of the dungeon with your level 13 companions and level 13 yourself only to fight level 25 enemies. You miss a lot, obviously, because of this level difference. The game is unfinished as well, because the story at the very beginning tells you about 4 kingdoms, but you can only ever enter two of them. Worst of all, these two kingdoms don't even have the same conditions. Enchanter is only in one of them and your stash (!!!) is also only in one of them. So you are forced to switch areas constantly. Otherwise this game is pretty much a repetition of the first Fate game, which I enjoyed. The layouts of the dungeon levels are still an absolute pain. Cards are new (and useless) and domes are new and without good gear unplayable because of no balance. I heard the third Fate game is enjoyable again, so I'd recommend skipping Undisclosed Realms.
