After suffering through 11 hours of this HORRIBLE, ABOMINATION of a game, I can confidently say that this is one of the worst games of ALL TIME. Here are three huge problems I have with this game. 1. "Boat"/Crowe Fight #1 This is probably the smaller of the 3 in terms of problems but this boss fight is so horrid. The intended way to fight Crowe here is to hug the shipping container in the middle for cover while firing off rockets at Crowe's Helicopter. WELL, you CANNOT do that because when you get too close to the shipping container, the game sees this as you trying to climb the container so it'll put your gun away. Not to mention the fact that it takes 6 rockets to destroy the helicopter and you have to hit your shots WHILE Crowe hit's every single shot known to man. So Crowe can fly around the broken cover that doesn't even work and shoot at you while you have no cover and get aimbotted. 2. "Swamp"/Getting to the mercenary base Right at the start of "Swamp", after getting a vehicle, you have to defend the vehicle while Valerie drives it to the mercenary base while being chased by multiple SUV's and Helicopters. The problem arises with the LMG itself. A lot of the time, it felt as if my bullets just wouldn't register and I'd be dead before even making it to the next checkpoint. Pair that with the sharp and undecisive turns that Valerie makes while driving and it makes Level "Swamp" feel like an absolute Torture fest. 3. The AI This, in my opinion, is the biggest problem with Far Cry 1. You could be 500 meters away from an enemy and you shooting an enemy next to you will trigger that 500 meters away enemy to LITERALLY AIMBOT onto you. This made nearly all the levels SUPER annoying. (There are also some buildings that the AI can see through and shoot you through as well) (BONUS) 4. Final Boss I'm actually amazed at how awful that final boss was. The buildup to the bossfight had more difficulty than the boss fight itself (Turning the elevator on and climbing the stairs while fighting Mercenaries and Trigens). Pros: Crytek Cons: Broken AI Nonexistent Stamina Final Score: 2/10
