Far Cry® New Dawn

Обожаю игры с проработанным кооперативом и злодеями с правильным цветом кожи.

Personal opinion: I think this game is a great sequel for Far Cry 5. Maybe not perfect, but then again not every story will have a happy ending. The ending left me uneasy, and having so many unanswered questions, but some questions are suppose to be left unanswered. The story gives us insight of characters, how they think differently now then 17 years prior. Is their character different due to seeing things in a new light? Are they traumatized and worn down, not willing to fight, or more willing? New Dawn is only meant to be a partial game, so you can't go into it expecting a full 50 hour playthrough. The map is a copy and paste of Far Cry 5 due to it being in the exact location, but I found myself exploring everything and seeing how the world had changed, and new challenges in what used to be a peaceful location. All in all, I loved Far Cry 5, and felt honored to be able to continue the story in New Dawn.

I had a lot of fun roaming through Hope County, rediscovering familiar places from Far Cry 5, getting into shootouts with the Highwaymen, and occasionally sneaking around enemy outposts as a sniper, patiently picking enemies off one by one. That said, you shouldn't expect too much from the story. In my opinion, the protagonist doesn't always act particularly smart, though it was at least satisfying to have Horatio chase the annoying sisters through the village near the end. Additionally I have to say that I'm generally not a fan of all the supernatural elements they decided to include. It should also be mentioned that some songs in the soundtrack (especially those by Die Antwoord) can become headache-inducing. They constantly loop in enemy-controlled outposts.
