Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 21/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

No.
This game is intended for multiplayer. It can be done single, but they have made it to be a subscription POS. They change the rules, capabilities, and settings periodically which makes it a real pain in the can to play. After playing for almost 2 years I finally had enough of their crap, quit wasting my time with it, and trash canned it. I'm sorry I wasted so much time on this garbage. I only got into it to play online with a family member and then they never would get online any more. Don't bother wasting your $$ or your time with it. There are other games that are much better that don't get manipulated to try and keep people interested.
I've been playing Fallout 76 since the B.E.T.A. in 2018, and after 2,645 hours, I'm still playing. Not every day, not every week, but whenever I get that Fallout itch, I log in and lose myself in Appalachia again. To me, that's the biggest compliment I can give any game. I'm not going to pretend Fallout 76 had a good launch. It didn't. The criticism it received was deserved. But this review isn't about what the game was in 2018—it's about what the game is today. Fallout 76 has changed dramatically. Bethesda has added human NPCs, multiple storylines, Settlers and Raiders, the Brotherhood of Steel, Expeditions, Skyline Valley, Milepost Zero, raids, Daily Ops, public events, fishing, CAMP pets, the ability to play as a Ghoul, and years of quality-of-life improvements. There's simply far more to do than there was at launch. The biggest reason I still play is because the game respects my time. I don't feel like I have to log in every day to keep up. I can take a break for a month, three months, or even six months, come back, and immediately enjoy myself. I don't feel punished for taking a break, and I never feel like I've permanently fallen behind. That's something very few live-service games manage to do. Another thing I love is the community. For an online Fallout game, it's surprisingly welcoming. Most high-level players are happy to help new players with plans, gear, ammo, or advice. PvP is consensual (meaning both players have to attack each other for PVP to happen), there are no offline raids, and your CAMP isn't sitting there waiting to be destroyed while you're away. It's one of the few online games where I can relax, explore, build, and enjoy the world without constantly worrying about another player ruining my experience. Now let's talk about the biggest topic in almost every Steam review: Fallout 1st. I completely understand why it's controversial. Do I think the Scrapbox, Ammo Box, and Aid Box should be available to everyone? Honestly, yes. They're fantastic quality-of-life features, and I'd love to see every player have access to them. But I also think some people compare Fallout 76 to Fallout 4 when that's not really a fair comparison. This isn't a single-player RPG. It's an online RPG that's been running for years. Almost every MMO or live-service game has inventory limits, bank limits, stash limits, warehouse limits, or some other system that prevents players from storing everything forever. Fallout 76 isn't unique in that regard. Without Fallout 1st, you'll have to manage your inventory. You'll need to decide what legendary weapons are worth keeping, what junk you actually need, what armor you'll use, and what can be sold or scrapped. You can't keep everything forever, and yes, that can be frustrating. Fallout 1st makes that much easier, but it's more than just the Scrapbox, Ammo Box, and Aid Box. You also get a Survival Tent for quick access to storage and crafting, Private Worlds, custom worlds, monthly Atoms to spend in the Atomic Shop, exclusive cosmetics, and other quality-of-life perks. Do I think Bethesda could make it a better value? Absolutely. Do I think some of those features should eventually become part of the base game? I do. At the same time, I also understand that ongoing development isn't free. Dedicated servers, developers, artists, voice actors, new quests, seasonal content, map expansions, bug fixes, and continued support all cost money. I honestly don't know if Fallout 76 would still be receiving major updates eight years later without a subscription helping fund that development. That doesn't mean everything Bethesda does is right. The game still has bugs. The engine definitely shows its age. Some updates introduce new problems while fixing old ones, and there are long-standing issues that the community has wanted fixed for years. Customer support isn't perfect, and I completely understand why some players leave negative reviews after bad experiences. Those criticisms are real. But they're also only part of the story. The other part is that this game has given me 2,645 hours of entertainment. I've explored Appalachia more times than I can count. I've built CAMPs that took days to finish. I've chased rare plans, completed events with complete strangers, wandered the map for hours with no goal in mind, and met some genuinely great people along the way. My biggest criticism isn't that Fallout 76 is a bad game. It's that I still believe it has even more potential. I think Bethesda has created one of the best Fallout worlds they've ever made, and I hope they continue investing in it with bigger expansions, meaningful improvements, and fixes to long-standing issues. The foundation is there, and I'd love to see them push it even further. If you're reading Steam reviews because you're trying to decide whether to buy Fallout 76, here's my advice. Don't let my review decide for you. Don't let one negative review decide for you. And don't let one positive review decide for you. Read both sides. There are people with thousands of hours who love this game, and there are people with thousands of hours who have legitimate reasons for walking away. Both perspectives are valid because they're based on real experiences. The only opinion that will truly matter is your own. If you enjoy Fallout, exploring a huge open world, building CAMPs, collecting gear, teaming up with other players, or simply wandering around seeing what you discover, I genuinely think Fallout 76 is worth trying. Will you run into bugs? Probably. Will you get frustrated from time to time? Almost certainly. Will you also find yourself saying, "I'll just play for another 30 minutes," only to realize three hours have gone by? That happened to me more times than I can count. After 2,645 hours, I don't regret buying Fallout 76. It isn't perfect, and it never will be. But the fun, the exploration, the community, and the memories I've made have outweighed the frustrations.
Discard your previous notions weary steam traveler for Fallout 76 has over came it's hardships and has become one of my favorite multiplayer games and Fallout games in the catalog certainly not one of the titans such as 4, New Vegas, and 3. But it has definitely earned its place in my heart. I could go on for longer about the simplicity of being able to get on and relax in your camp and listen to the amazing radio or listening to this wonderful soundtrack as you stress out because you discover another brand new enemy 40+ hours in. It brings me hope for the future of Fallout and no matter whatever way you cut it the Appalachian mountains are simply peak
