We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

A decent enough shooter but the atmosphere isn't a patch on the original F.E.A.R. It's also completely forgettable. Recommended as a nostalgia shooter only. For the horror element - stick with the first one.
Not a scary game, but I appreciate a little good old xbox 360 era linear shooter with bullet time every now and then.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

si te gustan los juegos de terror este muy bueno en una historia que te sumerge hasta el final volviendote adicto a este tremendicimo juego yo lo juego aun mas de 10 años
Worst ending I have ever seen, F.E.A.R deserves better. I hope we see a return or a remake at some point. Not much else to say about this game. Other than the ending, its a pretty fair combat system. Doesn't do anything particularly spectacular. Just meh
It was fun to play with my friend, for the first time it worked and we finished that game but unfortunately second and third try ended with errors and was unpossible to play again

SPOILERS FOR LORE...BUT AT THIS POINT, DO YOU REALLY CARE? I wish I had a lot more to say about this game, but after being really disappointed with FEAR 2, I'm kind of burnt out on this series. Luckily, this game turned out to be much better than I expected. I don't think it's an amazing entry in the FEAR series by any means, but it was still a lot of fun to play. The gameplay is a massive step up from FEAR 2. The gunplay feels so much more solid and powerful. Mix that with great audio design and visceral enemy dismemberment, and you've got one hell of an action game. Fettel's gameplay loop is also surprisingly fun and arguably even more enjoyable than playing as Point Man. I got a real kick out of chaining possessions together and relocating across the battlefield to take out more enemies. If I had a buddy to play with, I think Point Man's and Fettel's gameplay styles together would've made for an incredible co-op experience. That said, some of the weapons definitely felt like they had balancing issues. The shotgun, for example, was still a tad underwhelming, just like it was in FEAR 2. It was almost perfect. At close range, this thing should obliterate everything in one shot, but most enemies took two or three blasts to go down, even with headshots. I vividly remember one section where you have to hold out while a door slowly opens as demons swarm you. I had the shotgun equipped, but I still had to retry the encounter about four times because it refused to one-shot enemies, even when they were practically in my face. The cover mechanic was a neat addition, but it definitely needed more polish. I stopped using it because I was still getting shot while in cover. I understand that if the object I'm hiding behind is too small to fully protect me, then it makes sense that I'd get hit. But overall, I don't really see the point of the mechanic. It doesn't seem to mesh well with the fast-paced gunplay the game is trying to encourage. The story... is not good. There are so many logic flaws, retcons, and continuity issues. For starters, how exactly does Fettel's "spectral" existence work? He's a ghost, yet he can kill and be killed by physical bullets? Why does the game humiliate Michael Becket and then abruptly write him out? I was pretty critical of FEAR 2, but honestly, I liked Becket as the protagonist. Why is Point Man mute? It felt odd to finally give him a face but no voice lines whatsoever. I understand he was a silent protagonist in the first game, but that doesn't mean he should literally never speak. It just made the cutscenes between him and Fettel so awkward. And where the hell is Genevieve Aristide? All of that buildup and the huge cliffhanger from FEAR 2 are completely ignored and never explored again. These are just a few of the questions I have that I'll probably never get clear answers to. And finally, this game is short. I stretched my first playthrough to about four hours, but on my second run as Fettel, I blasted through the game in no time. Wow... I know I said earlier that I didn't have much to say, but I guess I underestimated myself. This game is a tough one to evaluate. I think it's an incredibly fun game, but not a particularly good FEAR game, if that makes sense. I'm glad I finally got to experience this series. It's been a wild, messy ride, but despite all its flaws, I had an amazing time from beginning to end.
