Expeditions: Viking

Türkçe yama ile oynadım ve açıkcası çok beğendim gerek rpg kısmı gerek sıra tabanlı savaşları, karakterlerin kendi arasındaki ilişkiler çeşitli kamp,harita aktiviteleri,ve viking tadında uzun soluklu bir macera,adeta dizi izlermiş gibi yavaş yavaş açılan açıldıkça keyifli olan bir oyun olmuş, Expendetions serisinin hepsi öyle bu arada sıra tabanlı seven ve rpg ögeleri içeren bir oyun bakıyorsanız mutlaka deneyin derim.

Turned out to be way better than I expected. Definitely worth the pickup if on deep discount or part of a bundle. Story and battling are strong suits so far and I am looking forward to more.

I want to preface this by saying I got the game for 3$ on sale, so keep that in mind in terms of value for the money: (also it is 10+ years old at this point so ya know, keep that in mind too) The good: The combat, when it works, is very fun for being an older game. The story is well written and easy to engage with. Too often now the consequences of a piece of media is world or universe ending. I appreciate that in this story the scope is small. Yes, you're meeting kings and druids, but the end goal of all of this is just to save your home from being taken over by your neighbor. The maps are pretty and it is a fun setting to be in. It was enough to have me wanting more, at least for a little while. The bad: When the combat doesn't work, which is more often than not, it can be very frustrating. It's hard to figure out lines of sight for archers. I frequently thought I had set up my archers to hit an enemy only to be told they aren't in the line of sight. And then the very next turn the AI archers would hit me from the same spot. VERY frequently the enemies would get to move first and I would lose one or two team members before I even got a chance to move. In general this game lacks alot of balancing between roles and in fights. There is also notably no respec for skill points so once you spend them, they're done. This is mainly a problem because you make your character before you know anything about your other party members, or who will join later. So you may spend points trying to level a camp skill only to have someone join at a higher level than you making it a waste. The Ugly: The camera is downright awful, between trying to find an angle where you can see what it is you're doing and it zooming all over the place to see an action it was enough to drive you crazy. You can definitely tell its a 10 plus year old game. lots of quality of life things are missing, meaning you spend alot of time in menus or going back and forth on the map trying to figure things out. Again for 3$ I can't complain that much especially given the games age. It was a fun experience and if you enjoyed expeditions rome, or need something else to play between playthroughs of baldurs gate it's worth it on sale.

Купил игру как только о ней услышал и не пожалел. Настоящая рпг! Репутация зависящая от ответов в диалогах. Пара спутников, которые могут уйти. отношение товарищей, влияющее на их боевой дух. сложная система прокачки и система лагеря и крафта, развитие поселения, глубокая боёвка. Это просто прекрасно! жаль раньше об этой игре не слышал! Из минусов: - некритичные баги (особенно в интерфейсе в боях) - иногда отсутствие музыки - ночь на локациях, когда вообще ничего не видно. -отсутствие личных квестов напарников (кроме 2) (может, конечно я их не заметил, но начинались они автоматически) -проверка только 3 характеристик. - нелогичные сюжетные повороты в конце

I'm going to save us all a little time and get straight to the point. You watched Vikings. You loved Vikings. You are wondering if this game can give you that experience. You want to be your own character in Vikings and make your own Viking decisions. Yes. The UI is god awful and the dialogue is at times a little flat and cliche, every other area of the game ranges from good to serviceable. Can't speak to the greater plot as I haven't delved too deep into it yet, but it feels pretty predictable and I am enjoying where it's headed so far. If you've played and enjoyed Colony Ship, Atom RPG, or A Necromancer's tale, I put this at about the same caliber of isometric RPG, maybe just a bit better. Buy it at full price if you REALLY like Vikings, you won't be disappointed. Otherwise, definitely worth a purchase on sale.

I got this on sale so thought I'd give it a whirl after completing Expeditions Rome. I sunk about 16 hours into it and dirt part of Britain. It was nowhere near as polished, the party AI is a bit weak and the controls are poor, I frequently clicked the wrong character, performed the wrong action and got hit by mistake etc. I've realised I'm not enjoying it and it's just a grind.

Bought the game a few weeks ago on sale (i think), final got round to trying it and its just a black screen, Weekend fun ruined. Wouldn't recommend as it doesn't boot up. 50 minutes and nothings worked. No support posted online.
