If you played Warhammer Rogue Trader before then you will love this game the story is very good and you get to choose a lot of choices for the lore and its impact upcoming event, the combat is addicted for me the only downside I found is you cant refund your skill which is very disappointed for this type of game so you will stick to it for the rest of the game, I wish Expeditions series get more attention and Im very looking for the next Expeditions game

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Do you like BG3 or DOS2? And enjoy roman settings? then buy the game, enough said. I have 3 playthroughs, just from wanting to see how characters and politics shift. The dialogue is very enjoyable and also equally serious and consequential that you genuinely care about your companions, and how you express yourself. Max difficulty will certainly put you through the ringer and demand you plan out your actions and carefully plan your builds. I can't recall a single crash in 3 playthroughs.
Igrulius huetatus, Vikingus kruches.
Not a bad game by any means, but I will not recommend it because of the lack of explanation of the overworld / conquest mechanics. For as polished as the game is elsewise, and the frequent pauses to be walked through quick tutorials, it's baffling how much I had to stumble around to figure out obtuse mechanics that could have been easily explained.
Basic companions are garbage and you have to take them. If they die you lose. Take a lesson from BG3, let me respec them, let me customize them to fit my play style.
Pretty fun game! Started on hard difficulty and got rolled earlier on, but got used to the gameplay eventually and I liked the gameplay. Game generally started to get easier later on but I haven't tried the hardest difficulty with ironman mode so that remains to be seen. More on the gameplay aspect, felt that some parts could be more fleshed out like the skill levelling, and could've done more combos between classes besides just the knockdown with princeps and destroyer triarius. On other aspects, I feel the customisation was pretty lacking, modern games give lots of facial and body customisation, but here we have to use a preset face with limited customisation, and most of the time how we look doesn't exactly look like our picture. This is also same for comapnions and important npcs, I'd be like 'Wait... this is how Caeso/Cleopatra/etc. looks like? They look so different in their 3d model and 2d picture'. Do hope the upcoming game would have more on this! The romance depth was a bit lacking, but gave insights for character building. Wished there was more interactions, as I romanced caeso for my first run, and did see his character development. The flings like with cleopatra or arranged marriage with cato was in character for the legatus, and I liked that there were those choices. The best part about relationships and how everyone reacts to you is whether you're a female or male. I played as a male but seen vids of female legatuses and the difference is very noticeable and you're treated differently. Though I feel the female legatus should get an equal amount of content as they do miss out quite a bit compared to a male one. I can't be the best judge since I haven't played a female one, but there should be a bit more compromise for female legatuses, even though male ones are more favoured in this time period. This would of course mean more work, but a mechanic like this if done properly would be way better, otherwise it might be better to avoid it. I think mainly the story is the best part, it gives a good insight on how rome was and you even could pick up a few words the romans speak in latin and the way the speak, like pronouncing 'V' as a 'W' or how they say words differently like we say 'See-Sa-Ro' for Cicero but it's 'Ki-Ka-Ro' here, which I do like! It's kinda inconsistent from the voice actors though, but that's the only bad part as the voice acting was really good even if they didn't have ppl from the big industries. Liked that I could have different endings relevant to that time period, same with choices, like killing our enemies, parading them in rome, or the occasional letting them go (though I wish there was more depth behind this as mostly these choices were irrelevant or one-liners in epilogue). There is a good amount of choices, and I think the 3 core modes of persuasion in rhetoric were a nice addition for rome especially, though a bit unbalanced as ethos barely gets used. Logos is for denarii, and pathos is for choices, however ethos is for big choices which could be avoided with regular dialogue or other rhetorics. Think that next time they do these kinds of mechanics it could be more fleshed out? Especially some choices like the aqueduct of romans vs egyptians I felt that could be resolved peacefully without using ethos, and that lack of choice felt weird. I know it's a side quest but I felt we should be more forced to choose a side or redo the sidequest so we have a bigger reason to side with either, or make peace. I also wished we had way more big choices like the end of act 1 where it's pretty much the only big choice, or the ending too. Also liked how they didn't really shy away from character deaths as we do get attached to them, and we can find ways to prevent them too. All in all, a pretty good rpg to play and wld def recommend on sale! It's no bg3 or mass effect series imo, but is a fun play for a crpg with nice tactical combat that can be challenging if you're not used to it. Can't wait for their new game! Also should get to trying out their other games since I got all as a $5 deal.
