Conquer the New world: In the 16th Century, Spanish explorers and soldiers reached the shores of America. The search for gold, fame, and adventure drove these travelers into a treacherous wilderness where they faced hunger, disease, and dangerous predators. In their wake, the Aztec Empires lay in ruins.

Nice game.
Expeditions: Conquistador surprised me with how much it made me feel the weight of my own choices — I went in expecting a straightforward tactics game and ended up genuinely unsettled watching my expedition descend into brutality, all of my own volition. The party morale system is clever: your pious companions bristle when you side with the natives, your greedy soldiers cheer when you loot a temple, and that tension gives every decision a cost beyond just resources. The hex-based combat is challenging and satisfying, though the camera being glued to your character on the overworld gets genuinely frustrating when you're trying to navigate dense jungle. The camping loop — hunting, healing, assigning tasks — starts as an interesting survival puzzle but does get repetitive by the midgame. Still, for an indie game this ambitious, the writing and moral complexity punch well above its weight, and I walked away thinking about it long after the credits rolled. Recommended, especially on sale.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The story is decent and changes depending on your choices, but that's the only good thing about the game. I wouldn't really classify this as a TRPG, it's more of a management/sim game. It's incredibly slow and tedious to explore the map, everything has a resource cost and takes too long. Most of your playtime is just spent ensuring you have enough food and gold to progress. Combat is very basic, skills seem useless, and the graphics are really unclear. There's grass/trees covering the hex-grids so it's hard to see where you can move. It's not clear who's an ally or enemy, who can still attack this turn, where you can move etc. Why are the movement hexes green when 90% of the game is set in a green jungle?! I don't really recommend this unless you want a management/sim game. After the first map I enabled cheats and teleported everywhere - it's just not worth the time investment.
I LOVED THIS GAME and have good memories of it.
A game that mixes XCOM-style combat with the exploration of Heroes of Might and Magic, all set against the backdrop of the Spanish conquest of the Americas. Basically, you are your own version of Hernán Cortés, visiting the Caribbean and Mexico during the fall of Tenochtitlan. The game is hard to recommend, as it has plenty of flaws, clunky mechanics, and an unfriendly user interface. On top of that, it’s complicated to grasp at first, feeling more like a game from the '90s than the 2010s. However, I must admit I’ve enjoyed it much more than expected. The combat is a bit rough around the edges but entertaining, while the storytelling and interaction with your companions and NPCs create great immersion. The consequences of your choices are reflected throughout the plot, and the music is good, albeit lacking variety. That being said, the setting is what I love most. I’m a history buff, and the age of conquest is one of my favorite eras—one that is honestly very underutilized in video games. Without being an expert on Native American history, I can say it feels like a well-researched title in terms of historical accuracy, featuring real and well-represented tribes and ethnic groups, such as the Taíno, Totonac, and Maya, who actually interacted with the Spaniards during that period. It’s also worth mentioning the choice not to focus solely on the "Black Legend" of the conquest, which frames everything as a mere slaughter of pure, helpless indigenous people. The developers managed to give the game a realistic nuance, giving you the choice of how to treat the natives. Ultimately, it’s not a game for everyone, but if you like this genre, historical settings, and unconventional RPGs, this game is for you.

It's Good.
I LIKE!!!
На удивление глубоко проработанная, с интересным сюжетом и игровыми механиками пошаговая тактика. Любителям жанра однозначно рекомендация.
