Conquer the New world: In the 16th Century, Spanish explorers and soldiers reached the shores of America. The search for gold, fame, and adventure drove these travelers into a treacherous wilderness where they faced hunger, disease, and dangerous predators. In their wake, the Aztec Empires lay in ruins.

Reviews
After reading and hearing mixed opinions I've been pleasently surprised. First I really like unique/less exploited settings and that is exactly what we get here, La conquista de América is rather rarely used in games, probably even less in RPGish genre. Worth noting is that, it's not just based on facts, as there are some changes and even a little bit of paranormal activites, which only makes it even more interesting. I'd say plot is good, so is writing, dialogues might not offer many branchings but are solid, and so are options we are presented with. The best thing is that choices actually matter, sometimes a lot, so the game can be replayed not only in order to try new builds but also for different plot choices. Combat can be fun, it doesn't allow much variety per class, as almost all perks are shared, there are clear winners in terms of certain weapon types usability, like arquebus is much better than bow, to the point a hunter using a bow might make you think the class is just weak but the second you try EXACT same build but with the gun it's magically starts to deliver. RPG enthusiasts might be disappointed by how equipment is implemented - we put 'equipment' points into slots making armor, melee or ranged weapon better by some percent - which is quite boring and uninspiring. Along our troops we can use some craftable items like spike traps, barricades, torches etc. which can affect the fight dramitcally (especially on higher dificulties levels it might be crucial). I have mixed feelings if it comes to survival elements, in general it isn't bad but after some time becomes bit tedious, as we have to camp every 15 seconds while trying to travel between two far away locations. The good thing is we might get lots of random encounters, most of them is nice but one in particular seems way too brutal but fortunately it's rare. What I also like is that we are not forced to win all battles/camps, we still can retreat it just will affect the outcome in sometimes surprising way - in my opinion that's really cool. TLDR: If you like more tactical approach to 'survival rpgs' and are bored with yet another high fantasy, cyberpunk or sci-fi setting, give it a try. If you are not sure sometimes there are big sales that might save you 'wasting' money in case you won't like it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

There is no Quest Marker! They did this to make us "explore" I will just google it... Also some how my range units miss twice as much than enemy! Event - prevent tiefs from escape is absurd and cant win! Lots of stop escape are absurd and cant win! I got a scout that was never in combat and he is dead!?! Also a hunter is dead for no reason! Find Carins in first map seems bugged - there is no enough carins and i explore all the map! Also there is not very visible on map what part i explore vs those i dint! I got acannon, but some how is broken whit no option to repear!
I have not played long enough so here are my first impressions: If you have played some old games from 10-20 years ago, this game is not quite bad in terms of jankiness. The setting is interesting enough to make up for the lack of modernity. Having women in video games makes them interesting. We get it, some gamers are bigots who want to exercise their irl hatred for others in video games. Maybe go to therapy instead.
FR .. All right, can you give us a French translation now? Even if it's done with AI—because while I do understand English, it's always better to play the game in your native language to avoid a headache.
Nice game.
I absolutely love Expeditions: Viking and Rome so I was looking forward to checking this one out. Unfortunately, likely due to the age of the game, I couldn't find an appropriate resolution setting. I AM playing on my television so I expected some difference but it was too drastic. Not only was the picture skewed but the mouse cursor was huge. So large that I couldn't see the tool tips underneath whatever I was scrolling over. There is no setting to alter that either and it is too much of a pain to change the setting in my OS constantly in order to play the game. Unfortunately I had to refund. I do highly recommend the other Expedition games though.
It's kind of just a slog from start to finish. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a bad game, it's just not for me.
I bought this on sale bundled with Expeditions Rome and Vikings. I have never played a game in this setting and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very satisfactory to discover and reveal the map, and to role play a Conquistador. I married two native ladies and sacrificed a member of my expedition to acquire a powerful artifact. This game was great fun and it played very smoothly despite it being old. 9.4 out of 10
Really good tactical game with a "what if" scenario
10/10 hagan otro
