Best hotshots I have ever played... altho, I do not think it's worth 40$. Additionally and most importantly, the SFX are super annoying, (the animals and bugs need to GTFO here). So lame that we can't keep the sound of the ball being struck without being stuck with every other annoying sfx.... yet again, game devs are clueless about anything outside there specializations and they never ask those of us with sensitivities what not to do... SO, I play the game entirely muted ALL THE TIME! If you like this franchise, buy the game on sale or get a key on the cheap elsewhere.

Brings back the mems!
So I was addicted to Hot Shot Golf on Playstation. Not gonna lie, I am NOT a Golf Fan, as a matter of fact I'm not a sports game fan at all, I played Tecmo Super Bowl & Hot Shots Golf.. That was it, but i played them to the point of sheer enjoyment as they became of course the couch killers of my time. So I was like man.. I wonder if there was a PC Port.. Indeed... not a port.. but a whole new game using pretty much the same upgraded engine as the original Playstations. So if you want fun, zany golf. This is super fun.
Poor technical performance and incredibly tedious progression. I cannot fathom their design decisions around pacing and acquiring new characters. They literally could have ported the PSP version of this game and I would have been thrilled.
WE NEED EVERYBODY'S TENNIS REMAKE ~
Listen. There are some issues here. The graphics are not the greatest. The optimization is mediocre at best, since you need a relatively good pc to run this at 60 FPS. And, if you're expecting something similar to the previous entry on the PS4, you will be disappointed. Having said all that, it's pretty dang fun! There's a lot of content, it's bright and cheery, the game is currently relatvely stable (I haven't had any major issues, just some hiccups during startup) and the gameplay is absolutely solid. I was sceptical going in, and I was pleasantly surpised. This is a well made arcade style golf game- three press gauge (you have two more gauges to chose from in options) with possible spins, light simulation of wind and terrain, some special shots but nothing too wild. It looks like there's quite a few courses, many characters to unlock, and a long story mode (which is neat if you're into magical shadow golfers and such). So, yes, recommended!
