Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 25 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Eternal Strands is a third-person fantasy action game where ARPG-style elemental mastery meets open-zone exploration and improvisation. Players step into a richly reactive world, not just to follow a path, but to forge one.
You play as Brynn, a young Weaver, wielding fire, ice, and kinetic magic as tools of survival, strategy, and power. Whether freezing a dragon’s wings mid-flight or tearing apart the battlefield with physics-driven chaos, every encounter demands quick thinking and creative control, not just reflex.
With full traversal freedom, dynamic environments, and colossal foes that must be scaled and outwitted, Eternal Strands invites players to explore on their terms and fight on their instincts. There are no locked builds, no scripted solutions - just raw power, a broken world, and the legend you choose to create. A game where the elements obey you, the terrain bends to your will, and every victory is entirely your own.
At the heart of Eternal Strands beats a revolutionary new system for gameplay interactions: heat spreads, cold chills, and real-time destruction allows for unprecedented reactivity in combat. Hurl burning tree trunks at enemies with telekinetic powers, snap nearby trees to block opposing fire, or channel raw telekinetic force to rip boulders from the ground.
Wear the Mantle, a magical cloak that channels raw magic into raging flame, chilling ice, and telekinetic force. Combine your growing array of powers with enchanted weapons and armor crafted from slain enemies to create a custom look and style. Block incoming attacks with a wall of magical ice, lash out waves of flame from a massive two-handed blade, or toss enemies off a cliff with raw force.
Face gigantic adversaries and defeat them through a mix of sword, spell, and mobility. Leap onto and climb their massive forms to attack from different angles. Shatter armor or slice at weak spots to diminish their protection. Use ice to pin limbs of a towering foe, arcane flames to burn their fur, or catch lobbed projectiles and turn their attacks back upon them in battles that will leave scars upon the land.
Enhance the effectiveness of your ice abilities during a flash freeze to open up new paths. Use a heatwave to start a wildfire and watch it spread towards enemies as it consumes the tinder-dry trees and grass around it.
Explore the wilds, the capital city of Dynevron, and the secrets beneath as every surface is climbable. Magical abilities can create bridges, burn barriers, or launch Brynn across the world. The next-generation physics system encourages and rewards player creativity in exploration as much as combat. As the Enclave’s secrets unfold, return to base camp to consult with a rich cast of characters. Each are keen to discover the mysteries of what happened to this lost bastion of power and knowledge.
A realm of mystery, opportunity, danger, and wonder: the Enclave awaits.

Very much fun game loop. Shadow of colossus like gameplay with some RPG level-up. PARRY!!
Just overall a great time. The story is engaging, and the quests are fun. The fantastic voice acting helps with that a lot. Weapon combat is simple, but the magic makes up for it. Being able to yeet an enemy off the map with the grasp is always funny. Fighting the big enemies is so much fun, especially the flying ones. Gives me Shadow of the Colossus vibes. The different zones look really good, and being able to climb everything makes it also really fun to explore. It all is accompanied by a great soundtrack. The only thing I would have wanted is a photo mode. I really hope we get a sequel or a different game that builds upon this great game.

I love this game so much. It's a beautiful story and memorable, lovely characters. A world I want to explore and feel part of. Combat is fun, especially in boss fights. Perhaps the most important part for me is how well-written the characters are. Their personal stories are relatable (for me, especially Casmyn's) and their flaws are believable. Just a beautiful experience.
Great game. I enjoyed it, and found plenty of freedom in how you choose to battle. There is a lot of satisfaction in using magic to hurl objects at your enemies, or to hurl enemies off cliffs, hurl enemies into fire sources that then explode, etc, etc. As the game went on, I used my actual weapons less and less. The environmental powers are great and things seem pretty intuitive too. Props to the developers. It has a lot of heart but it's also a really well designed game
after following this game from the start, i finally rolled credits after playing daily for a few weeks straight, and i just. this game is incredible. the writing, the characters, the mechanics. sometimes the physics get a little wonky, but that felt expected considering the freedom to break just about everything and fling it around. the amount of time i spent tossing enemies off of cliffs... i've been telling everyone i know to get this game and play it!! it perfectly scratched the single-player rpg itch, like i haven't been so taken with a game like this in ages. can't think of a time where i wanted to get all the achievements for a game in quite a while!! i adore the companions, the romance was beautifully done, and i will be replaying it to experience the other romances!! the voice acting too, oh my gosh! everyone did such an AMAZING job!! what an incredible first game from yellow brick!! i can't wait to see what they do next!!
Wonderful! The plot and design of this game are both amusing and comfortable for me.
Loved the gameplay, ... at first. Yet as cool as the action is, it can't balance out all the negatives that accumulate the longer the game goes: absolutely boring-ass fetch-quest after fetch-quest. Tedious travel-mechanics again and again to collect an item in an area I've already been through a thousand times already and that holds no value anymore level-wise. Having to skip the main-hub-using-the-portal-"video" again and again and again ad nauseum. Bosses have to be killed multiple times the exact same way just to level up their powers (repetition is fun, right ?). And the dialogue. Oh boy, the dialogue. The first three to four hours I was really enganged, but then it startet to settle in that I had NO agency in the dialogues anyway, so I began skipping THEM ALL. And didn't regret it once. I got the strong sense that the writers REALLY loved the world they created and wanted us to experience every single little bit of the minute details they thought of - without realizing that the average player maybe doesn't care about the intricate details of politicial discourse, history and race maneurisms in their fictional world as much as they did. Probably would have recommended the game for its cool fighting anyway, had it not suddenly thrown me into the final boss battle seemingly completely underprepared, with my last manual save being about 1 hour back. And as soon as I loaded it it overwrote THE CURRENT BOSS SAVE STATE, meaning now I HAVE to repeat the last hour of gameplay. NO FREAKING WAY. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH BACKTRACKING OCCURED DURING THAT HOUR? HOW OFTEN I PRESSED X TO ALSO SKIP THIS SENTENCE OF DIALOG ? Will delete. And never look back.
Absolutely gorgeous and fun , a nice story so far ( 5 hours in ). will update here
