Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 20 → 3.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game felt like a blend of many of its open-world crafting RPG predecessors. The core gameplay loop is decent : go out into the world, explore, find chests, and kill monsters then come back to base to find all the loot neatly stored in your chest, ready for a crafting session. Rinse and repeat. Progression systems come in the form of new weapons, skills, accessories, character levels, and relics in the base acting as passive boosts, their upgrades being entirely tied to gold. The combat is very active with multiple ways to play. Sadly, the novelty wears off quickly. After 25 hours, I had acquired all the craftable weapons, a good chunk of the dropped ones, unlocked all skills and explored most of what the zones had to offer. The rest of my playtime was spent mostly grinding to complete my base upgrades and relics. Meanwhile, the combat that started out varied and fresh quickly became overwhelming and stale at the same time. With more than a hundred weapons and dozens of skills, balance is impossible and choice becomes mostly an illusion when you’re working with 2 slots for each. Every skill can be enhanced once by a trait, and weapons are just a seemingly random assortment of bonuses and skill traits. There is almost no synergy, picking a way to play means either selecting a weapon and hope it does damage, or choose a skill while combing through pages of weapon traits to find the one you need. In the same vein, the crafting is fun at first but falls short : - Ores are just used for weapon crafting, which is basically a gold source after the first few upgrades - Cooking has almost no recipes, and they don’t matter because it is also basically a gold source - Potion crafting produces a few tens of meaningless outputs, as they’re just a stardust source Every base trip is really just item processing where I’m the middleman for my different stations, followed by the mass (slow) sale of everything produced. All of this might be due to a lack of content since it’s early access or maybe something deeper, I can’t quite say. I won’t recommend it right now. Maybe buy it on a nice sale and have some fun on the surface, just don’t dig too deep. As a side note for any co-op players : as of writing this review it is not possible to be both in base and exploring/in a dungeon. This felt like a massive downside during the first 25 hours I played with my wife, since for us, the main appeal of a co-op crafting action game is being able to do both the crafting and the action simultaneously. It’s simply too restricting to have every player in a world focus on the same thing at once, which led to the whole experience feeling more like a tag-along than a true co-op game.

This game is fun. My kid and I have been playing it together and we have a blast. The shared save file works flawlessly and we can play with or without co-op and continue to progress our world. Normally we do not play co-op games that do not offer a dedicated server, but this is a really good in-between. The combat is really the highlight of the show here. All of the weapons feel great and the mastery system is enjoyable. We like trying different combinations of weapons and skills, there are plenty to choose from. We are playing on the highest difficulty now, as the game is pretty accessible. Coming from souls-likes and other games like Monster Hunter and Dauntless, we are pretty seasoned in the get in / get out combat cadence. I would not say it is overly challenging, but it is FUN. Overall, I think this game is a bit of a hidden gem that I hope more people discover. It is a fun, casual co-op title that delivers accessible, chaotic fun. I have no regrets on the purchase.
smash things. kill stuff. spend coin. run shop. have fun. good game.
Lots of fun - Yes Good visuals - Yes Lots of content - Yes Combat - with the grappling and kicking its extremely fun and has a decent amount of physics involvement Few bugs - Absolutely (not much game breaking though and I've seen as bad in fully released games) - its in early access.... UI and map need improvement - Yes (again early access) Overall its a really good game and hopefully will only get better between now and release.
I'm old enough that I've been playing games for longer than most people reading this have been alive. I've played the first Sonic or Mario games back when they were new. And Cloudheim reminds me, in a way, of the games of old. Back in the days, you played games because playing them was fun in itself. The gameplay was its own reward. Nowadays, when I see stuff like "I forced myself to complete this game to get all achievements but man I hated it" or "100% in this game is not fun at all", I wonder why people inflict that upon themselves. But then again, games where the gameplay itself is so very satisfying have become a rare thing. We live in an era of monetization platforms with games duct-taped on them, FOMO, cash shops, battlepasses, retention strategies to "keep the player engaged" (read "if they spend enough time playing our game, the sunk cost fallacy will keep them playing and we have more opprtunities to sell them some ♥♥♥♥"), extraneous rewards like achievements that are supposed to be the main drive to keep going, twitch drops, loot crates... Man, I hate what gaming has become. Enters Cloudheim. Cloudheim reminds me of the games of old because playing it is, in itself, fun. The gameplay is the retention strategy. Who would have thought that people would play a game if it's pleasant to play it, right ? Combat alone could carry this game, it is extremely satisfying, rewarding creativity and clever environmental and physics interaction far more than mindless grind and stats. But exploration is not half bad either, lots of chests and minor rewards hidden everywhere, and you don't have an Ubisoft-like map telling you where everything is likee a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ groceries list to clear. Just an indication of how many things you missed, up to you to figure it out. The game is not perfect, of course. Needs some time in the oven, the base development is not bad, but not incredible either. There is a bit of grind for ressources. But overall, the game is extremely fun to play, and that's what every game should aspire to be. Recommended, of course.
Enjoyable. Delightful. A cozy break from your uber-difficult WoW or Elden Ring playthrough with Just enough strategy required to keep it interesting. The art and design are great, and the characters, even the enemies are so fun to watch. My only complaint is that I'm super motion sickness sensitive, so I hope the developers integrate adjustable camera views. I can only tolerate playing for an hour at most, then I have to stop because panning around during combat from close behind your character is murder for motion sickness. I still recommend this game though! Just needs a little more fine-tuning.
This game is confusing. Combat feels floaty. Character progression mechanics are terrible and entirely passive. Store/shop mechanic is not well thought out. Overall it's a good concept with poor execution, will need a lot of work to make a fun gameplay loop/
This game needs a direction. It feels like they have no idea of what an endgame is and how to make a good game loop. It has good gameplay but the situations are lacking and needs to be more combat and less puzzles and exploration. They do have a roguelite mode that is close (very close) but it’s a side activity. I’m looking for mission and dungeon mode and not open world with pockets of combat that don’t really scratch my itch. It as huge potential and I'm begging them to make a mission mode. Also the UI is scuffed because of all the place holders. Time to clean it up.
It's Dopamine... the game. i dont normally review a game only after 4 hours. But if a game holds my interest for 4 straight hours the first time i play it, because im just having that much fun... its good. Pure dopamine. i like games that feel engaging but also relaxing enough to wind down between work hours. This is that game.
