Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20.86/day in the week to Aug 11 → 25.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Esoteric Ebb is an isometric, Disco-like, TTRPG-turned-CRPG set in a bizarre post-Arcanepunk fantasy setting. You are The Cleric, an expert in esoteric events, and a glorified government goon. Inspired by classic CRPG games, Esoteric Ebb features deep and branching dialogs with a staggering amount of choices.
Create the world’s worst cleric. Take on the city through tense TTRPG dice rolls. Struggle to maintain control with your Stats chiming in at every moment. Let the voices guide you into insane encounters and hit that natural 20 right when you need it. Become the most interesting player at the table and completely ruin your DM’s day.
Five days until the first-ever election, a tea shop explodes in the heart of the city. They send you to deal with the mess.
You wake up in a morgue with half the river in your boots, surrounded by ten thousand rotting apples, several corpses, and one zombie. Out of your depth and with no official backup, you delve into your beloved city to investigate the impossible mystery no one wants you to solve. Juggle factions and play them against each other. Explore the streets and tunnels of a fantasy metropolis. Debate devils, drunk sphinxes, and all manner of fantastical fools in a world where mythological creatures sell newspapers at corner shops and ideologies overtake the ramblings of dead gods.

Don’t forget the most important question: What are you voting in the election?
MAKE CHOICES THAT WILL COME BACK TO BITE YOU. Shifting alliances! Risky dungeoneering! Complete open-ended quests, low and high-stakes alike, set in the streets, towers, and dark tunnels of Norvik. Become the city’s savior, its demise, or bumble your way into absolute power.
TRUST THE DICE. Let chance guide you! Roll to wrestle dwarves, steal anything in sight, or to keep yourself from looking like a complete fool. But remember, in true TTRPG fashion, failure can often be way more interesting.

IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD. Debate yourself! Each Ability Stat has a conflicting viewpoint and loves to interrupt important conversations. No matter whose side you fall on, you'll complete quests in wonderfully ridiculous ways.

WIELD REALITY-SHAPING MAGIC. Use The Cleric’s power for unique narrative choices. Control minds for fun and profit. Detect secrets in the tunnels below or in the thoughts of your enemies. Speak with anyone, living or dead, just to see how they insult you.

TURN-BASED ENCOUNTERS. Clerics in Norvik are taught to use violence as a last resort. When the need does arise, a roll of the dice determines life or death. But you always have a bizarre solution to any problem, don’t you?

THE QUESTING TREE. Your quest log, skill tree, and mind map all at once. Each Quest Branch can take root in your mind and alter The Cleric’s playstyle through game-changing feats.

A great game experience that delves deeper rather than wider into its themes, with a variety of different views. It really lets you think for yourself while still providing different perspectives, which I think most of us value greatly in this type of game. I'm a bit particular when it comes to the "Choices Matter" and "RPG" tags. Overall, I would say it fits and provides the experience of meaningful choices that are unique to YOU. There are many different ways to tackle things and you fail more checks for the stats you are not specialized in, though of course there is a lot of luck involved and I have passed some steep checks for abilities I should be bad at. It does feel like there is a "correct" way to tackle some situations, though this might just be because the game lets you decide how to do things and I had a specific idea of what is "correct". I am unsure about a big difference in consequences between runs. There isn't a lot of interconnectivity between the quests so most decisions affect only the end to a single quest. I have not watched any other playthroughs and I don't replay games, so I would be curious to see if there are actual big differences between me and other people's runs, apart from ending quests earlier and/ or having slightly different dialogue at the end. The time limit is quite nice, though you need to be hyper aware of which time of day you can finish some specific quests because when you near the end, even before any explicit point of no return, a lot of them will be locked away. This brings me to the next point which is that sometimes a character would not let me finish their quest outside a specific time window during the day even though I could interact with them in a casual setting. This happened very rarely but felt unfair. To end on a high not, because I realise I've been criticizing a lot, everything feels like it fits together cohesively. It feels very authored, as in you are experiencing something coming from a singular mind with clear ideas. Again, it goes back to exploring a smaller core deeper and through playing this I believe I learned something about myself along the way as well. I loved my experience with this game and hope to see more like it!

they cannot stop me from becoming god-wizard-king. I WILL be voting for myself in the election, and everyone WILL know
A fun game and a clear passion project. It set up to be compared to Disco Elysium, and it isn't that unfavourable. The writing and outlook is way more optimistic here and the tone lighter. There are a lot of likeable characters as well.
There is a lot of charm, love of DND and DE here that makes this a worthy buy. My only criticism is not even something I'm made about, but rather something to make the game more accessible. I wished there was voice acting. I have no problem reading, but there is a LOT of it and that may prevent someone from playing (although it shouldn't)
It's Disco Elysium x D&D

Thi game is amazing, the clever humor, rhe unexpected twists, the characters, the art. Youncam tell the amoumt of hard work behind It. And the talent of the creators.
Gioco incredibile, se siete fan di disco elysium con qualche elemento in più di dnd e una storia un sacco intrigante hai scelto il gioco giusto Perfetto anche su steam deck
Initially I was turned off from buying this game because the artstyle especially on the fruity little goblin seemed a bit suspicious as though a subconscious signal screaming at me to dye my hair pink. The feeling never quite went away in my playtime though perhaps the intended effect was indeed successful and I was indoctrinated into the neopagan cult of the universalist thought with modern flavours perpetrated by the vividly squiggly and bouba evoking in an utterly unthreatening yet evoking an uncanny disgust response imagery. The words they spoke were not saturated with such environmental traps upon the psyche and much rather a serious take on the word lived in without unsuspending disbelief which in total is necessary for the type of game it seeks to be though not sufficient and surely it also is though mostly rather straightforward mystery. To those that live and breathe modernity without flailing to break the chains of kantian cuckery none of what I said matters aside from the fact that the game is good. Unoriginal in the execution of any meaningful expansion of main character though remarkably simplified from DE's DNA it retains the same feeling when played, but only to a surface degree. With this game being somewhat successful, I would like to see a not a sequel but a different game with much more depth of story and character as well as proper identity beyond a blob of 'the fantasy slop' which can only be characterized as grossly inoffensive and always coping away with hiding any and all elements of the timeline that give writing depth into the asscrack of history never to be seen on screen and only dealt with in references or story bits in no way able to be directed or affected. In a way that is my most direct criticism of the game: lack of consequence. While the same can be said for Disco Elysium, this is the key addition that can bring the, call it, genre, of disco-like, to a depth much more felt in the proper RPG category, proper agency found with diverging consequences and multiple endings. I suppose I felt like shouting into the void here about it maybe to be heard as the developers have done some experimentation with "skill check driven combat" in this title and while I can't exactly say that it's anywhere near perfect (and frankly, it seems both clunky and lacking in depth) it signals a will to evolve beyond the mold that is most understood in the limitations posed on it by the very creators of it yet nonetheless I signal my very own points that would improve it the most.
