Very good game but unfortunately quite short. If you enjoyed any paper mario games you'll easily enjoy this one too
This is an amazing game. Very much scratches my paper mario itch. My only complaint is how short it is. I wish there was more. I will never not reccommend this game. The team did an amazing job, and I will always keep an eye out for future games.
It's not quite got as much sauce as Paper Mario TTYD in gameplay and the story and characters are a bit basic. The tsundere dragon was the only character I really enjoyed, the rest were somewhat too one dimensional, with predictable writing. Gameplay and world design is still pretty fun, the zones are varied enough, music is nice. I was invested enough to beat the game but not to complete its version of the pit of 100 trials. Easily one of the best Paper Mario-likes.

This is by far the best "paper mario like" game.
J'ai adoré ! Le jeu est beau, avec beaucoup d'humour, prenant, agréable à prendre en main… J'ai passé de superbes moments dessus. Cela ressemble grandement à du paper mario et la porte millénaire mais dans des livres de contes (même si les livres en question peuvent être très liés à du lovecraft par exemple). L'histoire m'a convaincu et j'ai beaucoup aimé le message qu'elle transmet. Petit bémol : il existe une tour de 100 étages dans le jeu. Sans sauvegarde et si on perd ou abandonne, on doit revenir au début. Il m'a fallu presque 3h pour monter au 100ème. C'était long et très redondant. Un peu beaucoup de backtracking (devoir revenir sur des lieux déjà visités pour des détails) à certains moments. Bref, je ne peux que vous conseiller de lui donner sa chance ! Foncez !
