139/139の実績を解除してからのレビュー EndlessシリーズのCiv。 FIDSや登場人物はEndless Spaceを踏襲している。システム的にはEndless Space 2に近い。 ・良い点 [list] [*]機能 必要な機能は一通りそろっている。 私の環境では初期の頃は4K解像度で遊ぶと起動できない問題が発生していたが、修正されていた。 高解像度で遊ぶときに各UIを大きくする機能も付いており、細かいところにも目が届いている。 [*]内容 [list] [*]物語 各種族はゲームを進行しつつお題をクリアすることで、報酬と種族についての情報を得られる。 必ずしもお題を完了する必要は無いのだが、種族の背景が知れて楽しい。 [*]操作感 他のCiv系のゲームを踏襲したつくりで、やることはあまり変わらない。 しかし、それ故に取っ付きやすい。 [/list] [*]音楽 Endlessシリーズにあった曲が流れる。 Endless Spaceの曲もリメイク版が使用されている。 サウンドトラックもメタ情報付きで付いてくるので非常にありがたい。 [*]映像 ズームにすると無駄に綺麗だ。 特に伝説系の建物が綺麗だが、慣れてくると縮小マップの簡易表示で遊ぶようになるのであんまり出番はないかも。 [/list] ・悪い点 [list] [*]機能 オートセーブデータの個数や、ターンの時間制限に任意の値を入れることができず、ちょっと億劫。 かなりやり込む人でない限り気にならないだろうが...。 [*]バグ Endless Space程ではないが少しバグがある。 とはいえ、稀にユニットの行動が原因でターンが終了しなかったり、ユニットが重なるなど軽微で対処も簡単なので、見逃せる。 [*]業績 敵の城を10000ターン分（3倍速で出来るので実際は3333ターン分くらい）ひたすら削るというしょうもない業績がある。 数時間ディスプレイの前でターンエンドと戦闘だけを繰り返すので、業績完了主義者には辛い。 [/list] Endlessシリーズが好きでCiv系が好きなら買って損はない。 DLCが無いと貧弱なので、買うならセールの時にまとめて買うと良い。

Honestly, a pretty good game. Similar to other Grand Strategy games like some Civ games and others, it's a really good turn-based game. Now it does have its ups and downs, like the combat system being based off as initiative, and the long tutorial, but after that point, you play your first legit game and get used to what to do! One small problem that new players may have is when maps won't load for games, which a simple fix is either 1. Remove a mod that is causing a problem that you have on, or 2. Go to "Properties" in the game settings and put in the code in the bar in the "Launch Options" section, "-useembedded" and you should have no problems loading into maps. Overall, graphics could be better, sound is good, gameplay is also pretty good, so overall, a solid 8.5/10 Could be better with some bugs getting fixed but the devs are working on Endless Legend 2 so I'm also pretty stoked for that.
Exceptional faction concepts and art style. As for game play, I can cheat by moving troops quickly when the turn starts and I don't know if that is intentional. Apart from that the game mechanism is good. You can also adjust the combat animation speed to 3x in "advanced" before you start a game.

Underrated gem of a 4x, though desperately needs a competent AI to provide any amount of challenge. Mods do help.
