Эта игра для меня - одна из немногих в жанре пошаговых стратегий, которая реализовала правило "история и геймплей гармонично работают вместе". При всём уважении к жанру стратегий, историю редко удаётся рассказать так, чтобы она соответствовала происходящему на экране. Оптимальные стратегии в большинстве игр даже в ПВЕ-режиме далеки от рассказываемых историей идеалах. Здесь завидное исключение. Грибы действительно распространяются как плесень. Культ действительно занимается пропагандой и больше всего страдает от разорения своих "ячеек". Маги боли действительно любят, когда им больно. Забытые действительно живут шпионажем и воровством, и это единственная +- оптимальная стратегия. Эта игра для меня была продана окончательно после того, как я обнаружил, что дефолтный "праховый" шмот (который по статам редкостное УГ и не подходил почти никому, годился только как пехотное мясо) лучше всего заиграл... На пустотных рыцарях, которые целиком из этого праха состоят! Конечно, игра не лишена недостатков, она чудовищно перегружена механиками, она очень затянута, доигрывать её тяжело из-за микроменеджмента, для неё очень рекомендуется поставить мод ELCP, который прокачивает АИ до состояния "вполне конкурентноспособный" и исправляет хотя бы часть дисбаланса оригинальной игры. Но я считаю эти недостатки вторичными. Для меня это первая стратегия, которая смогла рассказать историю через механики. И это достижение, к которому стоит прикоснуться.

used to love this game but it just doesnt work anymore it crashes on the main menu loading screen no matter what ive tried to do

Still my favorite "civ like" game to this day and i'd recommend anyone who hasn't gives this a shot before civ 7, endless legend 2 is around the corner as well so this is bound to go on a sale before then to foster some more hype for the sequel
It's worth it just for the art, the stories and the music. It's a different playstyle than civilisation though but works very well

Игра отличная, мне нравиться жанр СТРТЕГИЯ, только по этому. по сравнению с другими есть игры по лучше, но как опыт просто бомба! играть одному не скучно, ведь один сеанс игры может идти до 20 часов) боты сильные, в игру долго правда приходиться вникать. + это свобода выбора (КАРТЫ, ИЗУЧЕНИЯ И ДРУГОЕ) - это то что есть баги и по сей день, баг про онлайн. по Этому смелая 8/10
