i only bought this dlc cuz i love elden ring so much but other than that it shouldve been free instead of 5 dollars and im not happy with last 4 years of fromsoftware and i think fromsoft slowly turning a second EA

for $5, this is absolutely worth it if you like the game but not essential. i love it personally and it's the best $5 i've ever spent. as a "DLC" which is just a bit of Nintendo "exclusive" content but at a $5 price for everyone else, it's undoubtedly worth the price and more.

Nice adds to an already absurdly giant, great quality game

tl;dr reasonable for the price, surprising because it's version-exclusives, funny because it's horse armor. So, this is a port of the content that was new for the Tarnished Edition on Nintendo Switch 2. Given how rare it is to have platform-exclusives come to other platforms, let alone quickly, this isn't really a bad thing, although ">horse armor in 2026" is genuinely very funny. Five euros for platform-exclusives is honestly a surprisingly fair price, too, and the addition of two starting classes does a lot to expand on your starting choice (although the benefits of starting class are pretty reduced in ER because of the poorly-implemented open world ideas and unless you're doing something really crazy you may as well pick Samurai so you can dual-wield uchigatana very quickly). Aside from the gear, the game was also patched to be in parity with the NS2 version (which had additional balance changes to both PvE and PvP baked in); that patch was free and also added compatability with the stuff you get out of this small pack.
