I downloaded this game the moment it came out — new Elden Ring, absolutely incredible! But then it hit me: unbelievable boredom. This wasn’t anything like the Elden Ring I had played before! No, this was some strange combat roguelite thing where you have to keep running from the shrinking zone like in Fortnite. Kill bosses, get skills and weapons, collect all kinds of pouches from blacksmiths... until I finally understood it. You have to play this like driving a turbocharged motorcycle — hard as hell and with absolutely no restraint! As an experience, this actually feels like a turbocharged Elden Ring. Every run lasts 45 minutes at most, and then you’re either celebrating like crazy or retreating to rethink your strategy for the next assault. Once you really get into the game, there’s no going back. With the DLC, the map also changes and new areas appear that need to be cleared out. This really is an amazing game if you just give it a proper chance. Get a top-tier team together or master it on solo and head straight into some winning runs! 5/5 — highly recommended!

Not fun to play. Camera and movement are horrible to control. The enemies are unforgiving and punishing to fight. There is too much RNG involved. I do not understand the point of the battle royale zones closing in other than to stress the player out after they die to a troll's bomb AOE while climbing the castle walls. Would it not make more sense to have a timer that summons a random boss on the player's location each night, similar to how Margit can spawn as a random encounter? That way the player has more freedom to do what they want to do instead of locking more than half of the content outside the playable area. The effort to steer away from fake RPG mechanics, unlike other Souls game, is admirable by FromSoftware. I like the addition of relics and passive abilities. I also like that there are different playable characters with unique playstyles so that being knowledgeable about boss attack patterns and dodging at the perfect time is not the only way to guarantee a victory. Multiplayer is cool. Sometimes frustrating, sometimes invigorating after an epic clutch. Not much to say here. The graphics, stories, and worldbuilding is phenomenal. I just wish it was a little less abstract and related more to Elden Ring rather than being an alternative universe spin-off. Overall, the game becomes repetitive, boring, and rage-inducing very quickly, while also maintaining an addictive factor. It seemingly stays like that until you decide to uninstall. That is the thing with Souls games: They are hard for the sake of being hard and I will die on that hill. This is an accurate representation of my experience playing this game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KD3ZJlzgx4
I can take all of them. The Nightlords. All at once. "In a fight, right?" ... ... Yeah...
DLCは買わないでください。 本編は最高に面白かったのに、DLCですべて台無しになりました。 フロムゲーは卒業します。
