Eggstreme Farming

I like the addition of the geese and turkeys along with the mucking out the pens. Automation is key and it doesn't feal as rushed as the demo. Hours of relaxing fun!

This game is not... bad per say, I enjoyed dealing with the eggs and unlocking automation, I think it's a fun game when you need a little bit of calm, no thoughts game, but it definitely needs improving. The leveling system is way too quick, making the game way too short. I mean, I unlocked the turkeys before I'd even gotten one goose because I was trying to automate the chickens first, so I think the leveling system would benefit from putting the breaks way more. But if you slow it down too much, you get to the second problem, which is that there is really not enough to unlock and progress. The automation goes to eggs and water and that's where it stops. Which means that for the food, the selling, the cleaning and the pre-emptive medication, it's your job to do it even if you're 100 levels above the last unlock. I had to stop adding more birds to the cages because the cleaning alone would take me multiple hours in game, and the medication was so incredibly tedious, between checking the animals, buying the medication, manually carry it to each of the cages one by one, administer it, and then redo it every 2-3 days. I don't mind the use of medication, but it should be reserved to if an animal gets actually sick, not having to pre-emptively give it all the time, and the cleaning should definitely get an update, whether it be better equipment or employees to do it for you. Since the price of the game is actually cheap, I will give it some slack, but I still don't believe it's really worth the price considering it took me 8 hours to fully automate everything and have everything unlocked and purchased, and it mostly took me that time because of how much I was running around trying to catch up with the cleaning, feeding, medicating and even more, carrying everything everywhere, one by one. It feels weird to me that the most fun part, the eggs, is the first to get automated but everything that's the most boring and repetitive to do doesn't. I still recommend the game because have hopes that they will add more stuff to automate the process, and I do believe that simply rebalancing the different tasks, like lowering the medication need and the cleaning spots, or slowing down the leveling up by half, would make it instantly much better, but until then, if you want to play this game, honestly, just play the demo, it's got the most fun parts of the game without the tediousness of the endgame, and it's free.
