Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I am glad other people had fun with this, but for me it was so broken that it was impossible to play (unable to transition between scenes, eats saved games etc.)
Addictive and Easy
There are probably 3 ways to play this game.

Fast and loose. Scan all the choices and make decisions on the spur of the moment and rely a bit on that luck, and inner robustness that secret agents in the movies somehow seem to always have.
As a book. It's a story and you let it unfold, but you enjoy the excellent script and notice every turn in the road based on mostly casual choices.
Laser focused. On an outcome and goal and make direct choices you know are going to win, all while never under-estimating your opponent's arsenal of tricks.
And to be fair to anyone who thinks the any of these options is more fun, it does seem to never let you break the story entirely. A story entirely visualised in charming and live motion graphics, with a driving soundtrack backing it.
Postcards
The game is basically a choices matter written on postcards. Each choice is a postage stamp. The stamps have different colour and image which line up with the kind of choice. Ranging from happy-go lucky (A comedian in Cyan) to brazen (A Mauser in orange). In between lie Bold (A read axe), Professional Spy (Bespectacled gentleman in yellow), or Angelic (woman with Halo in aqua). There is the Affable gentleman (top-hat in Blue), an Hourglass (Wait for it, red) and at one point a special set of rather business-like postage stamps will make an appearance. But telling you what they are would spoil it. Whatever you choose, it's not always going to end up how you think either. This stamping of the postcards gives each move you make a finality, a road taken that you cannot retreat via. For the police are ever on your tail. Your handler wants to keep you focused. Each day you get a report, an insight into how close the police are to finding you. If you screw up, your handler may call you in and either turf you out on your ear, or provide a clue, so try not to screw up! And all the while you have to be asking yourself, who is the enemy and what is in the mind of the girl?
Spy vs Spy
That's about as much clue as I am prepared to give as to how the game is energized, it is a spy thriller. Germany is mobilizing and although neutral the Swiss are getting in the way. You will discover what the top secret is all about if you ask the right questions, but that matters not. The delivery of the mark to the safety of English forces is all that matters. The story will connect you with Europe at a time of war threat. With characters from Italy to France, and a lot of alpine villages in between. I still cannot get over the rich soundscape of this game. Any one twist in the road may have you meet with a goat, or worse, the sense of danger lurks in every postcard. Yes you are in Switzerland, there will be goats, and cows, especially goats and a few bells. A very rich cast of characters and places so well visually told. But you will never have time to take in all those beautiful scenes just like in the spy movies. Because you have a tail, choose, quick!
Politics
Can you put aside politics and be true to yourself? Then wish-list and buy this game the next time it is on special, you won't regret. Just give yourself a full weekend to spend the time on that it is worth. And then come and grab another game for your self from this list I have curated just for people who enjoyed, Over the Alps. https://store.steampowered.com/curator/41773079-EmpathyGames/list/90741/

A simplistic choose-your-own-adventure spy thriller set in the 1930s, with lovely graphics but poor writing. The game launched in 2020 with the first story, and a second story was added later that same year. A third story was promised but never materialized. There have been zero updates or bug fixes since 2020, even though there are multiple people (myself included) experiencing issues. Lovely premise and graphics, but the bugs and the writing killed my interest in this unfinished visual novel.
比如如下同剧情台词对比 *********************************************************************** English: "Never", she smiled, "When I konw what I want, Herr Smith, I make certain to have it" She turned to examine her reflection in the window glass and adjusted the fall of her hair. A pity: the way those soft blonde waves hide her brow worked fine for me ************************************************************************ 官方中文: 她转头端详了自己在窗玻璃上的影像,理了理垂下来的头发。
Entertaining non-linear, but still a bit linear, choice game about detectives in the Alps. Love to play this with my mum who doesn't understand half of what's happening. (I love her)
An interesting plot, looks lovely, generally fun to play. It got repetitive and a couple of the characters really annoyed me.
I enjoyed it but they abandoned it.
