Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I enjoyed it but they abandoned it.
Not entirely sure why, but this one didn't quite do it for me. It's really not a bad game, which is why I'm still rating it positively, but it didn't capture me like other visual novels have. The postcard writing mechanic for making choices was cute game design, and the art feels polished. But the choices felt... I don't know. Random at best. Ultimately, I liked playing through the story once, but don't feel compelled to look at any other routes--and that's a defining characteristic of a captivating choices matter game for me. I want to know what else could have happened. In this particular case, I'm fine closing the book on this story.

Shame this isn't more popular. Writing is on par with 80 Days, which is a huge achievement and makes sense since Jon Ingold is the lead writer. There were moments when I gasped and shouted in excitement at my screen, completely taken by what was happening.
Just what you expected and easily better.
Flash with no substance. The story is awful, and the whole thing is just badly written. The characters are meaningless, the story is fluff and your choices are overwhelmingly meaningless. To add insult, it's boring too.
Picked this up in a sale, and would recommend doing so to others. Actually, full price is pretty reasonable too. I found this game very entertaining and it looks great, though visually simple. My only gripe is that once or twice I didn't understand what I was choosing when making decisions, but that's often the case with narrative games.
