About
Echoes of Mystralia is a roguelite action-RPG where memory is power. Craft your own spells, refine your tactics, and carve your path through a world trapped in the horrors of its past.
Play as Mazarim, a Watcher tasked with protecting the Cycle of Memories. Explore the lands of Mystralia, meet its lost souls, and face the Shadows of the Past. Will you save the World’s Memory before it disappears into the Rift?
Thunderbursts, freezing tornadoes, fire vortices. If you can imagine it, you can craft it. Memories are your only weapon against the Shadows of the Past. Combine them, reorder them, and watch your spell take shape right in front of you.
Discover a world haunted by its past, where people are reliving the horrors of their own history. Every path has its challenges, its encounters, and its rewards. And your journey is yours to command.
Every journey ends with a return to the Azimuth Temple. Up there, Watchers can develop their skills, change their combat approach, or simply enjoy the pearls of wisdom of a millennia-old dragon.
A Rift has opened in the Cycle of Memories. As a Watcher, it falls to you to save the World’s Memory. Divinities, primordial Guardians, and peoples scarred by war and exploitation: a vast world unfolds before you. Only you can uncover its hidden truths.

If you like Hades likes and enjoy deep customization or Magicraft and their plethora of spell combos this game is fantastic. only complaint I currently have is enemy aoe's visuals are being blocked by my spell effects, like how can I dodge an invisible circle.
A fun Hades-like game. Since its in early access many thing can be change. - didnt like the "nothing happen" stage where you just need to choose which path i should choose - maybe add some other mode to add more diversity - the story is quite "just there" but have a potential - boss design is sick btw other than that, for me the game is fun to play. but for the price might not be worth it (for now). Hoping for more stuff added into the future. keep up the good work.

Terminei o jogo após muitas mortes, tentativas, testando cada habilidade e amei todo o esquema de evolução das magias, dá pra fazer muita combinação diferente em cada partida!! Espero muito que o jogo cresça, pois realmente gostei muito da sua gameplay
The Spell System is a lot of fun so far. I find myself trying more things out to get a feel for all the different combinations
Positive: The gameplay mechanics are smooth and the difficulty is well-balanced. Combining spells is fun. Different spells have distinct feels, and the playstyle meaningfully changes depending on which spell you’re using. Every choice feels impactful. Whether you go static or freeze line, or a burn build, or focus on critical damage and crit %. The graphics and overall feel of the game are really good. The foundation is solid, as long as the Early Access sales don’t kill the motivation to release a fully built game. Negative: The game is especially short: 3 bosses and the content is essentially experienced. There’s no motivation to keep grinding. If there was something like a Heroes of Hammerwatch New Game+ mechanic, and you were rewarded with e.g. one extra focus/modifier slot while the game got harder each time the player chooses a new NG+ multiplier, it could add more fun. The game absolutely needs more variation in biome/area boss fights. After beating the bosses a few times you learn their mechanics so well that you can slowly wear them down even without upgrades. 4 main spells need another 4 main spells, and 4 sub-spells for those, so that the gameplay experience actually feels different. The game doesn’t clearly explain what status damage does, or for example where Void Blast gets its 45% damage from. Conclusion: I recommend it if it’s on sale and you want 2–4 hours of playtime. It’s probably not quite worth the full €19.99 price tag yet. The foundation for something truly cult-classic exists. Now that the game is essentially “beaten,” I’m shelving it and waiting for the full release — looking forward to seeing what the developers bring to the 1.0 version.
This game has a good foundation for Early Access. It’s listed as unsupported on Steam deck but I’ve played a few dozen hours on the deck on minimum graphics and aside from rare frame drops, it runs pretty well. I’m writing this review specifically so Steam Deck Players can see it works. The game is pretty hard but it feels fair. Crafting your spells is fun and rewarding. I do wish we had a little bit more control over the kinds of memories being offered though. Once you unlock enough, it’s harder to get the memories you want because the pool is so diluted by niche picks. Balance is okay. Some runs you’ll feel like a god, some you’ll struggle. Some spells are absolutely stronger than others which I hope the devs even out a bit. The story is more interesting than I expected. It’s no Hades, but the format is similar. The characters are likable and visually interesting. At least worth keeping an eye on during early access, maybe pick it up on a sale.
Good game, but the animations and skills need to be smoother and more fluid so the feedback feels more satisfying, and the combination magic should be more flexible.
Actually fun
