Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game's default bgm setting to 50% is criminal, go set it to 75%+. Enjoy the epic music along with the bizarre and of course epic battles to defend mother Earth.
bloody amazing, so much more fun BECAUSE of its bad graphics for some reason. the game is chaotic and fun
I was on the fence for whether or not to recommend this game, but in the end - I don't think this game landed perfectly for me. If you like EDF, you will like this game - it's a good EDF game. The EDF song is great. It can be fun with friends, and the fact that it's so over the top is great. Here's why I don't think the game fully resonated with me. The gameplay doesn't *feel* perfect - enemies are sometimes bullet-spongy, and there isn't a ton of variety or strategy beyond "kill them all because you're powerful enough" or "kite them all because you're not powerful enough." The difficult later missions weren't more *interesting* for their difficulty - they were just extra punishing if you accidentally agro'd too much. And here's my biggest complaint - the leveling. Having character experience and armor *can* be good in the right type of game, and it is fun to unlock more weapons, but the armor is just too punishing if you don't have enough. Basically, you *cannot* switch characters, at least not without far too much time investment. You just won't have enough armor (weapons isn't as much of an issue because you can get a few good weapon drops on a harder level). Only playing as one character could be fine if it was interesting enough or had enough variety, or for example it felt earned (like imagine an RPG where you spend time crafting your build), but it didn't for me. That was enough for me to think that the game is 'fine' but not good enough to recommend to others.
A little janky, but its some classic EDF nonetheless!
Hours and hours with friends on PC and Steam Deck! This game is VERY Japanese arcade, pretty obtuse, and the translation is exactly that bad 90s localization energy that honestly brings so much heart to the game. It took my friends and I about two years of playing off and on and it was a great adventure throughout. Big shoutout to the game for supporting local split screen. Also the music frickin' rips dude
