Awesome Game!
I have changed my mind on this game . I have gradually uncovered a lot of the missing pieces that were bugging me.I still think using the A button instead of the Mouse is wrong. Also sometimes the meter flows smoothly and the key isn´t an issue but too often the meter stutters and you have a duff shot. I know golfers do have duff shots but not this amount and not at the top level.Also having to pay more to get better equipment and further improve skills is a money making Con.Why can't you do a demo that explains what the objectives are, how to get there and what the priorities are.The games mechanics are very good, also the graphics.I have changed my mind on this game . This Game was on sale so i purchased it of steam. It keeps on freezing and not recording rounds, Had to play the final q school round twice. Now i see why it was on sale. It's no better than 2k23.
Setup was not as easy as I expected but the gameplay is wonderful
GOOD GAME
after reading reviews i was worried about getting the game, but im glad i did because it's very fun and challenging. really scratches the golf itch and the amount of shots you can create always makes you wanna improve and create the next one. most of the complaints must be a sort of skill issue because different shots do different things but everything is possible. The only bad thing i've found is that multiplayer is VERY hit or miss depending on if it will work but it still will eventually. Overall i would recommend this game especially with the current sale.

Pretty fun
This game is fun. The mechanics are great and detailed enough that there is a nice challenge to it. The courses are fun and detailed and it has the golf tournament vibe that made the old games feel awesome to play. I've enjoyed my time.... when the game works. I've encountered a number of bugs that just absolutely derail any fun and/or cause you to straight up lose a tournament. Mystery OB drives that are clearly on the fairway, pockets on the edges of greens that register as "Other" and the horrific Playoff Glitch that makes you save and exit the tournament in order to actually play. God forbid the most dramatic part of the game actually works. The game is clearly dead as well. There appears to be no support for it. Finally, the character progression is insanely slow. It's clearly geared towards player growing frustrated and purchasing xp boosts that cost way too much. I've hit my limit at level 40. Do what I did, buy this game when it goes on sale and throw it away when you are done because clearly EA threw it away when they were done with it too.
