No no no no no no... This game is just, abysmal in so many aspects, there's nothing redeeming about the game that wants to make you return to play another game the next day, it's more to claim rewards... Gameplay is so questionable, no shot you ever make twice, even with the same input is going to remain the same and for newcomers into golf, the easiest difficulty is far too off putting and unrewarding to commit more to the game Which brings me over to career mode; so many golf courses to choose from but we can only pick from 5 amateur championships and only them alone! No other amateur championships? No because after only one amateur championship playthrough, then it's the Q-School for a spot in the Korn Ferry, it does amaze my for how this game could make golf of all sports feel so linear in progression until you turn professional and play in the PGA Tour, but if you want to go straight into the PGA Tour then it makes your career feel incredibly rushed, although starting in the amateur; it'll feel like that too as well, just sad how much potential was given up in the career mode... Every other game mode bar a quick play mode however is multiplayer; which means every single aspect of this game requires an internet connection; and every single reward is meant to improve your golfer, every single thing, it feels like every game mode you have to do your best and pour many games into getting a better ball or a better club and to rank your player; which you then use for multiplayer matches and competitions... This game does everything it can to clinch you and to force you to grind, good golfing games shouldn't force you to grind, rather it should let us the player decide to grind on it, and as a result if you aren't dedicated, you will instantly feel left out and unwilling to continue. Disappointing; far cry from the Tiger Wood PGA Series; and with no update since 2024; it seems EA has completely given up on this as well and honestly, did more to harm golfing as a sport than promoting it, completely defeating the purpose of a PGA Tour Video Game.

Si estas pensando en comprarte este juego definitivamente hazlo. Yo antes de comprarlo mire las reseñas, y si bien muchas de ellas eran negativas por los bugs, la mala optimizacion, y el menu, pero no me arrepiento nada de haber comprado este juegazo. Puntos a destacar: La jugabilidad es muy realista, si bien al principio del modo carrera te va a costar jugar bien, ya que tienes que subir los atributos de tu jugador para mejorar los golpes y por ende tu puntuacion en los campeonatos, he leido muchas criticas de esto, pero para mi me parece mas que acertado, ya que en otros juegos cuando ya pillas un poco la mecanica se vuelve lo mismo todo el rato, facil de calcular el viento y los golpes, pero en este juego no, en este juego tu talento y trabajo duro va a destacar por encima de todo, ya que puedes hacer buenas puntuaciones sin tener tantos atributos, lo que se convierte en un verdadero reto. Los graficos son espectaculares, la varieda de jugabilidad que hay es muy buena y entretenida, cada golpe puedes jugarlo como tu quieras, puedes hacer un golpe que ruede el green porque se te da mejor hacer eso, o puedes jugar una bola alta con backspin para asegurarte el green, y multiples cosas mas. Lo que mas destacaria son los graficos y los campos, estan muy, pero que muy bien hechos, da ilusion ver cada campo nuevo. Puntos negativos: 1. Lo unico de lo que me puedo quejar es de algunos bugs (de 12 horas de juego casi, solo he tenido un bug) y nada mas, solo tuve que reiniciar y punto. 2. El menu, se ve lento, es un poco meh, y aparte en algunas zonas se bueguea y en vez de cambiar a la izquierda cambias 2 mas a la izquierda, no se si me explico. 3. La Mala optimizacion, tengo un portatil bastante potente, y en mi portatil no puedo ponerlo a maximos graficos porque se calienta de mas, pero igualmente con graficos medios se ve espectacular, y va a mas de 100 fps. asi que sin problemas pero estaria bien que estuviese mejor optimizado. Por lo demas es un juego buenisimo, yo juego al golf en la vida real y esto es un buen simulador de golf, siento que los golpes son muy realistas, ya que es dificil dar un golpe perfecto, asique tienes que asegurar y hacerlo lo mejor posible, como en la vida real, y asi con muchas mas situaciones.
Want to get better stats for your character? Pay (real) money for "specs" to equip to your clubs. You can level up your character and apply skill points to stats, but they won't get you high enough to compete. On top of that, even if you have the best stats you can get: the game just applies randomness to your shots. You could hit a perfect swing with no deviation on your drive, and the ball will just fly 10-50 yards off target for no reason. When you read the green, you can adjust but it doesn't seem to matter. The ball just rolls in random ways. I don't mean "random" as in "practice until you get it", I mean "truly random". The green might slope to the left, and then you putt and your ball rolls right (yes, you read correctly: your ball will roll UPHILL). All that plus performance issues, incredibly basic character customization (golf games in the early 2000s had TREMENDOUSLY better customization than this game, and even the 2K golf games have customization that is leagues above this one). The 2K golf games aren't the best either, but at least they are better than this. I'll just stick to the old Tiger Woods PS2 titles. Heck, I'd rather play Mario Golf on N64 than this game. I'm done buying EA games. If they actually start making good games again, that DO NOT require an internet connection just to play my single-player career mode: I might reconsider.
A masterclass in hubris and complacency from EA. Even on sale this game was an absolute rip-off. This is easily and without question the worst golf game I have ever played. Lovely graphics (So at least somebody at EA knows how to do their job), but the shot accuracy and putting aim line are so woefully inaccurate it's just ridiculous. To add to that, putts can just randomly come off the club sideways even with perfect power and line. Wind is also really inconsistent. It makes the game a lot more annoying to play than is remotely fair. Matchmaking barely works. No replays or ability to save shots/scorecards...a huge downside of having an online only game. We can't save shots or stats as that would take up space on OUR servers rather than your PC's, right EA? The game comes with pathetically meagre customisation options. Pay to win mechanics. No ability to play career offline - which technically makes this not a single player game, since you're pairing up with a remote server. Playing offline the game converts to basically no more than a demo mode. I've been playing golf games long enough that when I hit a ball I can be pretty sure where it is going to land. This travesty of a game often adds or subtracts around 50 yards to shots for no discernible reason. I don't know if that's lazy design or just deliberate cheating on the part of EA (I'm pretty certain it's the latter), but it really needs to be fixed. The laziness of the design is no more obvious than having the same two clones giving awards when you win tournaments. Every time. When you finally win a season you get...nothing! Just the ability to start from scratch, making all of the effort completely pointless. You can't even review your previous progress. I've always enjoyed PGA Tour games from EA. While this is definitely the best looking one, it isn't even close to the best one to play. In fact, I think PGA Tour on the Sega Genesis played better. In my original review, I recommended this game, due to how nice it looked. But then I played it. I changed the review to not recommended because I wouldn't wish the amount of frustration and annoyance this game can cause on anyone. Another thing...whoever had the bright idea to remove chat from an ONLINE ONLY game doesn't deserve to to work in the games industry. In Closing...FU EA! If you really think less is more, try applying that principle you your CEO's wages. More than happy to delete this cheating POS game from my PC.

Graphics are the best golf game. Game play is very good. It needs more stat tracking and very much could use a "driving range" like others have to practice.
