Best metroidvania ive played so far
I owned this game on my 360 way back when, and I put so many hours into playing and replaying this game. The art style is beautiful, the gameplay is really fun, and the voice acting, while corny at times, really grows on you as you play.
this is one of my favourite games of all time. it has a beautiful soundtrack, hand-drawn visuals, and full and well-directed voice acting. the story isnt really groundbreaking but i think its well executed and i love seeing peoples reactions to it. every time i watch a new playthrough i fall in love with it all over again. if you can stand anime-leaning artstyles and metroidvania gameplay, please give this game a shot. the love that went into its creation is so clear.
Excellent Metroidvania, but, sadly, has horrible bugs. You get stuck in the shop, saves won't work etc.

[h3]メトロイドヴァニア形式の2Dアクションゲーム[/h3] しっかりとしたストーリー。英語フルボイス。癖があるが愛のあるキャラデザ。 なかなかゲームとしてのクオリティは高い。 アクションはなかなか爽快。でも戦闘システムは正直よくわからないので終始殴っているだけのプレイにはなった。 そして戦闘難易度は意外と高いというか、急に即死するイメージのバランス。 死んだらしっかりセーブポイントまで戻されるので、回復タイミングが難しいというか、回復アイテム連打みたいなプレイングになってしまう。 しんどくなってきたので難易度をカジュアルにしたら快適になりました。 マップには隠された宝箱が豊富にあって探索が楽しい。 ただ宝箱の中身はあんまり良いものが入ってないことが多い気がする。というか何を手に入れたのかよくわからない。 檻からは他ゲーからのゲストキャラが出てくるときもあり、Steamファンは思わずニヤリと出来る。 ただマップ表示における1部屋分がかなり広く、ちょっと探索がしづらいのが難点。 あとはファストトラベルが難しいというか、よくわからない。そこも探索のしづらさを増している。 サブクエストが豊富にありストーリーと並行して進めることが出来る。 ただサブクエスト達成時に何も報酬がない。と思ったらしばらく待つと左下に報酬が出る。 経験値は全く貰えず、お金かアイテムが貰えるようです。どちらにしても演出が全くないのであまり達成感がない。 全体としては欠点はあるもののしっかりと作られたゲームという印象。 普通に面白いゲームだと思います。
