Great adventure game! They need to make a part 2!
Fantastic game. Holds up incredibly well even so many years later
Though I generally dislike games in the Metroidvania genre, I found the combat in this game quite enjoyable, if not too complex. It is fun to juggle enemies! :) The game's presentation isn't my cup of tea, but it's far from terrible, and the story... well, it didn't capture me, anyway. 5/10?

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is a fairly short game, with absolutely beautiful art, interesting locations, and some moderate to difficult puzzles. It's part action RPG, part Metroidvania, and if you've ever felt really sad about struggling to 100% a Metroidvania, this one is challenging enough to feel satisfying when you do it, but also not so hard that you totally could (I say, having missed a treasure or two myself, lol.) I know a lot of people have mixed feelings on the voice acting, but I personally liked it just fine. I mean, I was under the impression that Dust was some kind of revenant right from the opening scene, and it seemed appropriate to me that he'd talk like that. (Was I right? Play yourself and find out.) As for the storyline - I mean, no, it's not a groundbreaking story, but it's fine. It flows, most of the characters are pretty likeable, the progression is fine. You can tell the writers had fun. Gameplay wise, I always prefer platforming style things to action style fighting anyway because I always seem to be bad at combos, so I'm not the person to ask about spamming attacks and how thrilling that is. I think given the amount of gameplay and the cost, it's reasonable and worthwhile.
I owned this game on my 360 way back when, and I put so many hours into playing and replaying this game. The art style is beautiful, the gameplay is really fun, and the voice acting, while corny at times, really grows on you as you play.
Best metroidvania ive played so far
The game gives you all the combat abilities in the beginning. Technically except 2 spells which mostly doesn't matter much. The gameplay is very repetitive and you'll be doing the same combo over and over throughout the whole game. But the story and art style off sets that. The highest difficulty isn't even hard later on when the game gives you strong equipments so easily. Stats is just do more sword damage, magic damage, more health, or more defense. Combo give extra EXP and kind of doesn't matter. The parry is really strong against single target with large amount of HP but terrible when fighting hordes of enemies and it is strong due to large damage increase against the parried foe. It is a metroidvania so you'll see generic abilities like the wall climb and double jump and backtracking for collectibles to 100% achievement. Over all, 8.5/10. Repetitive but still fun. You're getting your money's worth in terms of gameplay time if you go for 100% achievement.
Absolute banger
Great metroidvania if you're not used to them. bump up the difficulty a notch or two.
One of the better games i've bought.
