This game has so much heart. I love the originality of it. I played the demo with my friends, and then bought the game when it came out. I'd say it's like a mix of boardgame ish feel where you can talk to your friend and also experience the fun aspects of a video game as well. It's a different kind of bonding experience. When playing the game I realised there were stuff I thought I knew about my friend, but nope. And there are things where we're on the same wavelength. Which makes it feel more personal. I'm also not a deckbuilder type of gamer but picking it up is pretty easy on this game. Might even get me to try more deckbuilder games! If you want to experience something different, with a friend, this is it. I'd recommend it. I've seen some harsh reviews, and I feel like that's kinda unfair. There were slight issues for me, nothing bad tbh. They're so fixable. And I did give the developers feedback, they've been responsive! And that's great. I'd rather have them working hard to fix some bugs than them ignoring my input. You can tell there's a lot of hearts and efforts have been put into this game. They're also indie devs so I don't mind at all supporting them! Overall I think it's a fun game! Can't wait to finish the game soon! Rating: 8/10.

Fun and Cute Co-op Roguelite game A bit buggy but fun with a friend
Great game! Keyboard controls certainly need work & it's unclear when a menu is split/separated per player & when it is shared. If another player hovers over something your navigation can get stuck. Ran smoothly on Bazzite Linux using Proton-CachyOS latest. Overall a lot of fun but needing some polish.
I LOVE this game. After playing the demo, it was a day 1 purchase for me. It's a fun spin on roguelikes that has tons of heart. I can't wait to play more runs and experience all the new questions.
My Duo did not know me well and yet we still won....would play with my duo again 10/10
Love love love Duo Quest! As someone who only started gaming in adulthood as a way to spend time with my partner, this game is perfect for our date nights. For most of the other deck builders that I've tried playing - MTG, Pokemon TCG, Slay the Spire - my partner would be the one to build the deck for me. I love that Duo Quest is simple enough for me to finally build my own deck. Absolutely love the graphics, how cute is that CrocoBara!
A co-op game where you are encouraged NOT to coordinate with your teammate. I get that its supposed to be a bonding thing in the method of do you know your partner but why would you want to lose the game instead of talking and working together.
I think overall the game has really good potential but at the current state, I think it's a bit lacking. The core of the game is "rogue-like" but the replayability is a bit janky. The duo questions for the normal mobs repeat itself and me and my duo found it dissapointing that the unique part of the game got boring that fast (we had to retry world 1 again so literally only 2nd replay too). There are a few UI bugs too with online co-op but it wasn't significant enough to be game breaking just lacking. We will continue playing through all the worlds however and maybe I will change the review but for now I think there needs to be community made mod packs or free DLCs for additional questions to assuage the dry rogue-like game play.
