Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game has so many bugs. When it runs it's a fine game, and I enjoy it, but oh boy, I get crashes at least every hour or more. And with no auto saves, if i forget to quick save, it sucks.
A very great game if you don't mind some good medieval fantasy style play. I know why the reviews are bad, but there is an explanation! This game originally came out on cd in the mid 2000's, and it worked back then, and still works today, even better so long as you install it right. Assuming you want to play online, there is a popular server that takes some minor installation steps to get it at it's best. It is a roleplay server, for adults, meaning no one under 18 years old. You can look up the server from the forum at: www.bgtscc.net And now, the Steam version is as good as the other versions, thanks to the Goat on the Discord channel. The community is helpful and friendly. My advice if you are new to roleplay, as someone once gave to me long ago, is to, "Look at the world through your character's eyes." It gets easier with practice. Hope that helps!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is unplayable. The main menu works fine but as soon as you are ingame, the screen is partly or completely black except the interface and the characters. I tried to fix this well known problem for hours but gave up at last. Since this problem persisted for years now back to the release version I have no hope it will get fixed anytime soon and many people seems to have the same problem too. This is a clear no recommendation of this game from me or for the company that developed it, Aspyr Media!
DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO BUY THIS DOG S H I T IT DOES NOT FUNCTION. IT WILL FREEZE. IT WILL CRASH. IT WILL JUST GIVE UP. I REQUESTED A REFUND A STEAM TOLD ME NO. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME INTO THINKING THIS CRAP IS WORTH GIVING A CHANCE MOTHER OF GOD PLEASE PIRATE IT IF YOU NEED TO TRY AND GET YOUR PC FROZEN AND SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY THEY WILL BE ROBBING YOU OF. CRYPTO GAMES HAVE MORE TECHNICAL FUNCTIONALITY THAN THIS BEHEMOTH OF FAILURE. I HOPE THE DEVS CHOKE ON ICE CREAM.
I remember people telling me that the camera sucks in the original so I was looking forward to seeing if that was fixed in this one. It's not. It's somehow worse than what people told me it would be. How on earth you could f*ck up the camera this badly when it was perfectly fine in NWN1 is beyond me. No amount of finagling can make it feel normal, only slightly better. If you are going to play I suggest using exploration mode and setting the left click hold setting to move your character around. You won't be able to select multiple characters like that, but that's fine because they probably wouldn't listen to you anyways. This AI in this game is the most unhinged I've seen in any game that wasn't a simulation game like Rimworld. Unless you are micromanaging their every action down to the second they will inevitably run off to do whatever. I don't know what causes them to behave this way. I've tried the right-click menu to change their priorities, I've tried digging through settings, and eventually I just gave up and decided to just turn off the AI and play everyone personally. But I can't. As far as I'm aware, the game forces you to use AI for your companions at least to some degree at all times. For me these issues are a non-starter which really blows because I've been getting told for years that the story is great and that Mask of the Betrayer is some of the best in the entire D&D universe. I hope one day they fix this or that fans make some sort of overhaul mod to enhance the enhanced edition.
MOTB is one of the most unbalanced campaigns I have ever tried playing in any of these games. It sucks cause the story seems good but it's abysmal to play..Doesn't help that this "EE" runs like ♥♥♥♥ either.
Unable to progress due to uninteractable npc's. Game should not be sold in its curent state.
Buggy mess. I'm leaving this comment to let others know, some of the crashes seem to be avoidable when disabling cloud saves and the steam overlay.
Yeah.... Follow the recent reviews constant crashes and game breaking bugs this should not be a product for sale until they fix these problems
