fun game
yes
Purely from a gameplay perspective its pretty good. Dungeon building was fun enough and they slow drip new rooms or units throughout the entire campaign that you always feel like you have a new toy to play with as you progress through the game. Each of the 3 factions also feel unique enough that you want to keep a balance going instead of leaning too hard into one side, Demons have the longest ranged attackers and provide you with magic, Horde made an excellent meat shield with tanking Orcs and healing Naga, Undead provided good numbers with the skeletons of slain heroes. Above ground is actually where you complete your missions, having your armies destroy pretty much everything they can but there was enough variation in level design that I didn't feel like I was just doing the same thing over and over. If you like the idea of RTS games but don't have the APM to actually be good at them, this will probably hit the sweet spot you need. Difficulty was fair to me, I actually had to build up a fair bit to take complete the goals so it was no easy stompings but I never walked away from a level feeling like I dealt with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, except cannon towers early on but once you learn the trick they're fine too. On the flipside this game has got to have the worst writing I've seen in a game, which wouldn't matter too much if random characters didn't have to chime in with a line every few minutes if you're taking to long to beat a level. There is 4th wall breaks constantly, they will namedrop characters from Warcraft, LOTR, Starwars, etc outright without the slightest bit of subtley and they keep using the same jokes that didn't land the first time. They probably name drop a character from another franchise every other level and keep going "Wait I mean this other character from our game". Generative AI wasn't really a thing when this game out and I hate it with a passion but whoever did the writing would have actually benefited from it, thats how low the bar is. I might have loved it if I was still 12 though. It kinda sucks because the actual voice actors are pretty good. The narrator has a great voice for actually narrating a story, Tanos sounds like what you'd expect from a Paladin and plays off his descent into insanity pretty well. Thayla just had a overall good voice and had a villainous tone without overdoing it except when the script made her say something stupid again, which unfortunately happens alot since shes the lead character. For the 20 hours I got out of it, I think its solid enough of a game but theres no reason to not wait for a sale for it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Super fun Dungeon Keeper predecessor. The addition of the overworld map that functions at the same time as the dungeon building component is a nice value add.
생각 보다 재미있습니다. 티끌 모아 태산이듯, 실소가 모여 폭소가 됨을 이 게임이 알려 줍니다.
Świetny spatkobierca Dungeon Keeper
Отличная игра!
