About
Dune: Awakening is an epic Open World Survival Game where you get to fully immerse yourself in one of science fiction’s most iconic worlds.
You have been chosen by the Bene Gesserit to go to Arrakis as their agent and uncover the mystery of the missing Fremen. Visit locations such as Arrakeen and Hagga Basin and meet familiar characters such as Duke Leto Atreides and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, as you unravel an epic Dune story never told before: yours.
Whether you prefer to play alone or with friends, Dune: Awakening gives you the opportunity to explore a vast, open world Arrakis brimming with secrets to discover, stories to investigate, gadgets to craft, vehicles to assemble, and bases to build. You choose which path to take as you rise from survival to greatness.
Avoid the roaming sandworms. Seek shadows to stay out of the scorching sun. Study the slow blade or learn to master the powers of the Mentat and Bene Gesserit. Build a modest home or a massive base and decorate it to reflect your character’s unique personality. Climb mountains or craft your ornithopter and take to the skies.
Dune: Awakening gives you a living, breathing Dune on a scale never seen before.
Discover a dynamic and immersive Arrakis, from the rolling sand dunes of the Deep Desert to hidden Fremen caves and the bustling city streets of Arrakeen. Climb towering mountains with the Shigawire hook and fly across sandworm-infested deserts in an ornithopter you built yourself. Escape the destructive might of the massive sandstorms towering above you as they sweep across the landscape, then take a quiet moment to witness the beauty of Arrakis when the sun is low.
In Dune: Awakening, you get to step into the books and movies and experience one of science fiction’s most incredible worlds up close. Join the Atreides or the Harkonnen and rise through their ranks as you explore their unique stories. Meet familiar characters such as Duke Leto and Feyd-Rautha, investigate the mysterious disappearance of the Fremen, and discover the truth about your own past. Unravel an epic, cinematic Dune story that asks the mind-bending question: what if Paul Atreides was never born?
Arrakis is a test that few survive. Those who do, awaken. Learn to survive the unique climate of Arrakis, chasing shade and extracting liquid from the bodies of your enemies to refine it into water. Study the teachings of the Schools of the Imperium to unlock a powerful repertoire of abilities, weapons, and tools. Wield the Trooper’s unparalleled firepower, use the Bene Gesserit voice to control your enemies, deploy the Mentat’s deceptive traps, or master the Swordmaster’s unique dance of death.
Carve out your own piece of Arrakis and build your personal base of operations. From small outposts to elaborate and towering strongholds, build everything piece-by-piece in the Atreides or Harkonnen style, or any of the other available architectural styles, and decorate it to reflect your personality. Equip it with powerful crafting machines and spice refineries and watch your power and fortune grow. Craft anything from useful desert-survival gadgets to entire vehicles such as ground cars and ornithopters.
Play alone in full single-player, multiplayer with friends on a self-hosted or rented private server, or with hundreds of other players on a public server. The full game, with all its features, content, and story, is available regardless of which mode you choose. Both single-player and private multiplayer offer extensive gameplay customization options, allowing you to scale difficulty and tune gameplay options however you like.

I quit playing this game awhile ago when they had an unannounced server restart that resulted in my losing all my equipment to the sandworm. I seen they "added" single player. It hasn't even implemented just false advertisement. Do not but they are just desperate grasping at straws for player retention/on-boarding.
great potential, poor execution and even worse customer support. Initially I really liked the game because of the Dune universe, however the game is plagued by poor performance, severe rubber banding issues and developers not listening to their audience. Playing overland testing station bosses at higher levels require precise timing due to the boss mechanics but the rubber banding makes playing these solo on higher levels impossible. I've adressed this multiple times but customer support does nothing, stops replying, then sends me a feedback form to rate their support. Another revelation is that customer support doesn't actually communicate with the devs due to a 'system limitation' according to them, which completely defeats their purpose. furthermore, recently my secondary base got removed by customer support without my knowledge or even an attempt to contact me. this was due to an ongoing dispute over land with another player. I had claimed that land after server migration, he later joined the sietch and demanded that extra land next to his base. That other player has too much time on his hands so was able to repeatedly complain to customer support untill they gave in and removed my claim from that piece of land so that he could take it. Claiming I violated privacy policies for a sign I made, which could not be further from the truth. This player has an offensive ingame name which goes against the policy, action should be taken against him but because apparently I don't badger customer support enough, so he gets away with it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Langweilig, wie Conan Exiles, nur mit Science Fiction Setting, die Sandwuermer sind cool, das wars dann aber auch schon, nicht mein Fall.
In my personal opinion, Dune: Awakening is one of the best crafting and survival games I've played. It offers a wealth of quality of life features, a satisfying sense of progression, and a reasonably well-developed endgame that keeps players engaged beyond the initial experience. One of the game's greatest strengths is its approach to PvP. If you're someone who dislikes being forced into player-versus-player combat, the developers have gone to great lengths to separate PvP from the core PvE experience. While this decision upset a portion of the player base, I believe it ultimately made the game healthier and more enjoyable in the long term by allowing players to engage with the content they actually want to play. That said, the game isn't without its flaws. My biggest criticism is the pace of major content updates, which I feel could be significantly improved. I also have concerns about the game's overall direction. With the recent shift away from its MMO focus toward a single-player experience alongside the console release, it feels as though the developers are still trying to define exactly what they want the game to be. To me, that change gives the impression of an identity crisis, and I hope they settle on a clear vision moving forward even if it ends up shifting away from my ideal vision for it.
Not bad
I dig it. It's the best Dune game so far. Is it perfect? Nah.
Some glitches still but a good game overall.
