Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 27.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is just "fine". It's way too overwhelming for it to be fun for me, and there are just too many damn buttons that you need to press for everything. You have butttons for moving, a button for dashing, a button for jumping, a button for interacting, a button for punching, a button for shooting, one for using your weapons' secondary fire, one for SWAPPING your weapons' secondary fire, 10 different buttons for switching between your weapons, plus 3 more for switching to your next/last/previous weapon, a button to shoot grenades, a button to change what grenade you shoot, a button for using your flamethrower, a button for using your chainsaw, a button for using your sword, a button for using your superweapon, a button for changing what superweapon you have, a button to show objectives, and a button to show the map. All of these button are NEEDED to progress in the game, and it's just too overwhelming for me to be having fun, especially when I mix up the 20+ buttons and end up losing because of it. This game is just too overwhelming in general, with the amount of enemies, projectiles, sounds, and particles, and the game's incredibly brightly-lit environments don't help either. So much happens so fast that I just can't tell what I did wrong that leads to me losing. The enemies are just not fun to fight either, and every single enemy is more unbearable than the last. The arachotrons are bullet sponges with lasers. You can destroy their lasers, but they're still bullet sponges. Then the Mancubus is an even tankier bullet sponge with dual laser cannons, and a flamethrower, and a gas AOE attack. The Revanant is a bullet sponge that can fly and shoot missiles at you. The Pain Elemental is another tankier bullet sponge that flies and shoots rockets at you. The Baron of Hell is one of the tankiest enemies in the game with no counterplay other than "spam it before it kill you". The Maraduer is a boss fight that later becomes a common enemy where you only have a window of about 3 seconds to damage it, but it has so much hp that it takes 30-50 seconds to kill one, despite them being spammed everywhere. The doom Hunter is another boss-turned-common-enemy but it move fast and rapid-fires lasers at you and this one has about 20x more health than the marauder. So many enemies have so much health that it chews through your ammo, and the game knows that you don't have enough ammo to kill them, so it gives you an infinite-use chainsaw that instantly maxes out your ammo when used. This chainsaw mechanic is so f***ing stupid because I'd rather just have my max ammo be large enough to actually use the weapons I want to, but instead I have to switch weapons to the ones that aren't that fun to use until my chainsaw recharges and then I can get back to using the fun weapons. The chainsaw feels like a band-aid fix to a problem that the developers chose to create. The level design is okay, but the game focuses way too much on the story, which I just don't care about because it was written by Bethesda and Fallout 4 taught me never to take a Bethesda story seriously.
This game is absolutely MAD. Yet, it is a masterpiece. Doom Eternal is extremely violent. The story is shockingly sinister, especially towards the end. Overflowing gore of epic proportions and masterfully crafted lore elevate every second of gameplay. Mesmerising locations and breathtaking vistas accompany you on your crusade against the Universe. Total satisfaction. However, Eternal is notorious for its combat. No word can describe this phenomenon. It can only be felt, by submerging into it without restraint. It's godlike. And it instantly elevates your overall skill level. It's a gun buffet: weapons are massive, versatile and orgasmic. Fast switching is a must and it is delightful. Management of resources is badass! It is anything but a brainless shooting gallery - dumb people will not tackle Doom Eternal. The whole system is of high demand, but it is expected: to become a slayer, you have to walk the path of hard learning. Demons are vicious and unforgiving - savage monsters beyond imagination and stars. Nightmare is an optimum difficulty. Music? Godlike. DLCs? Godlike. A painting of Doom Slayer holding his bunny? Godlike. This game is undisputed G.O.A.T. It is weirdly unique and only for this reason you should give it a taste. p.s. Big respect to ID for creating different game from Doom 2016. Both stand on their own and will decorate any collection.
The best representation of a modern Doom experience.
RIP AND TEAR!
Greatest singleplayer arcade shooter of all times
