About
An outside threat reaches your homeland, a quiet northern island. You play as Fjør, a young warrior among those born under the Fate of the Guardian, blessed with exceptional combat prowess. But that alone is not enough to defeat the invaders and protect what's sacred to your people.
Walking the path of a Warden, explore the island above and below the surface: forgotten caves and ominous forests, gloomy catacombs and sacred ruins, where you shall fight hordes of monsters, discover well-hidden secrets and harness ancestral legacy.
Inspired by the best of the hack-and-slash genre, Divinum has a wide range of options to master and experiment with. Launch enemies into the air, where they are unable to act or escape while Fjør gains access to unique moves. Unleash unstoppable combos with two distinct primary weapons and special skills. Leave your foes no chance with quick dodges, blocks, and parries.
Explore the world, look for secrets and fight bosses to find Runes that meaningfully change how you fight. A +5% damage item? You won't find anything this boring in Divinum. Runes can provide anything from solid unique bonuses to modifiers that can completely change how you approach battles — but great power often comes with trade-offs.
Across the island, dangerous trials and ancient evil await you. Conquer them all and claim generous rewards!

Reviews
It is rather short. Which is incredibly disappointing because everything else about it is fantastic!
Herdeira do propósito sagrado
Having a blast with this! Very fluid and versatile combat, a surprising amount of build variety in the rune system, and plenty of hidden passages and optional stuff to find when traversing the world.
It's fine. Nice animation and graphics. But the game feels very shallow. Story progression is super slow: after 2.5h I'm still jumping around the same empty caves, opening secrets, fighting trials, being upgrades... why I'm still in this caves? Who knows, there was some village, ah nevermind. While MC movements and combat is nice, there is no depth to it. Unlockable skills are meaningless, except parry mid-jump. Runes are just extra damage. Spells are few... Overall I really wanted to like the game. I see that its a small indie game, and didn't expect much. But at some point I just felt that I simply wasting my time.
No. no I wouldn't recommend it. Not in good faith, at least. It is a pretty fun game, yeah, but it has some parts that just suck the life out of it. I can't say I'm a fan of how ridiculously tiny the parry window is considering how fast most attacks are. I also cannot say that I like how there are 0 invincibility frames in this game which allows you to technically get one shotted or feel very close to being one shotted. The heal does not heal enough for the amount of damage you can take and while I could argue that taking damage is a skill issue in regards to parrying, I really don't care about that. It's good if you like bashing your skull against walls but I am not that kind of player. For anyone who doesn't want to throw their laptop against a wall, it is a horrendous choice, though. The real point of no return is during the fight with executor Faust which is when you decide to either close and uninstall the game, or keep going and break your PC in half. Overall I would still say it is a good game, you couldn't pay me money to recommend it, though. The good part is that Faust IS the final boss so you didn't really miss much of the game if you got there.
Hidden Gem but it's way too short 4 to 6 hours
This game has been a blast so far. The combat alone makes this game an absolute joy to play. Highly recommend.
holy fkn banger bro
pro: GREAT combat, one of the best, smoothest 2D combat system con: apart from combat not much else is there, took me just 5 hrs to finish with most of the side content finished. my video review: https://youtu.be/nCuzZ7wE4wY?si=0Y5ytxQ0DcxSEI94
