About
An outside threat reaches your homeland, a quiet northern island. You play as Fjør, a young warrior among those born under the Fate of the Guardian, blessed with exceptional combat prowess. But that alone is not enough to defeat the invaders and protect what's sacred to your people.
Walking the path of a Warden, explore the island above and below the surface: forgotten caves and ominous forests, gloomy catacombs and sacred ruins, where you shall fight hordes of monsters, discover well-hidden secrets and harness ancestral legacy.
Inspired by the best of the hack-and-slash genre, Divinum has a wide range of options to master and experiment with. Launch enemies into the air, where they are unable to act or escape while Fjør gains access to unique moves. Unleash unstoppable combos with two distinct primary weapons and special skills. Leave your foes no chance with quick dodges, blocks, and parries.
Explore the world, look for secrets and fight bosses to find Runes that meaningfully change how you fight. A +5% damage item? You won't find anything this boring in Divinum. Runes can provide anything from solid unique bonuses to modifiers that can completely change how you approach battles — but great power often comes with trade-offs.
Across the island, dangerous trials and ancient evil await you. Conquer them all and claim generous rewards!

Reviews
Checkpoints are too far and in between once that is fixed ill change my review. At least put a respawn at the exit/entrane of the zone. Nobody wants to run back and parkour for 10 minutes if you miss a zone checkpoint
At some point, the difficulty just hits a ridiculous wall, and I simply can’t see myself continuing. Even regular enemies suddenly take what feels like a hundred hits to kill, while their attacks become harder and harder to read, making parrying them consistently a real pain. The runes and skills don’t seem to make much of a difference either. And since mana is far more valuable for healing, I rarely feel like I can actually afford to use my skills anyway. Eventually, I reached a boss where I just called it quits. It’s not challenging in a fun way anymore. it’s simply frustrating. At this point, playing feels less like entertainment and more like deliberately torturing myself. Which is a shame, because I actually enjoyed the first few hours. But after hitting this difficulty spike, I honestly wish I could just refund the game.

This is an excellent hack&slash metroidvania combo, with gorgeous pixelart. Fun and fluid combat and an okay story happening too. The main issue with this game is just that it's waaaay to short. Once you get to a certain point it feels like the halfway mark. You made a lot of progress and this feels good, and then the next area the game just abruptly ends. With a black screen and text no less... It's just sad that such a good experience is soured by the ending, like the final fight wasn't bad. Just the fact that the game ended here... I really liked everything there was. There just isn't enough of it. But i would still recommend everyone gives this game a try, it has some fun challenges along the way, and i really liked the puzzle platforming-esque progression that each zone had with it's own mechanics. Just wish there was double as much honestly. Get it on sale.
Nice short game. Not grindy, and doesn't overstay it's welcome.
Great game, wish it were twice as long!
Really great feeling combat
This is a stellar game, fantastic crunchy combat, rewarding exploration, nice visuals paired with good progression. No difficulty settings but the challenge seems fair and balanced, the parry seems to be very forgiving and it’s rewarding to try doing so. I’m so imoressed by this game I had to write this review after my first play session. This is a must have for fans of metroidvanias and action games. I highly recommend this. Will update review after I’m done with it. Buy it asap.
