About
An outside threat reaches your homeland, a quiet northern island. You play as Fjør, a young warrior among those born under the Fate of the Guardian, blessed with exceptional combat prowess. But that alone is not enough to defeat the invaders and protect what's sacred to your people.
Walking the path of a Warden, explore the island above and below the surface: forgotten caves and ominous forests, gloomy catacombs and sacred ruins, where you shall fight hordes of monsters, discover well-hidden secrets and harness ancestral legacy.
Inspired by the best of the hack-and-slash genre, Divinum has a wide range of options to master and experiment with. Launch enemies into the air, where they are unable to act or escape while Fjør gains access to unique moves. Unleash unstoppable combos with two distinct primary weapons and special skills. Leave your foes no chance with quick dodges, blocks, and parries.
Explore the world, look for secrets and fight bosses to find Runes that meaningfully change how you fight. A +5% damage item? You won't find anything this boring in Divinum. Runes can provide anything from solid unique bonuses to modifiers that can completely change how you approach battles — but great power often comes with trade-offs.
Across the island, dangerous trials and ancient evil await you. Conquer them all and claim generous rewards!

Reviews

Divinum is a pretty enjoyable action-adventure with a nice combination of exploration and hack-and-slash combat. The world has a nice dark-fantasy atmosphere, with caves, forests, ruins, and catacombs to explore. There are also plenty of secrets and optional challenges, which gives you a reason to look around instead of simply following the main path. If you enjoy 2D action games with exploration, combos, and some RPG elements, Divinum is definitely worth checking out.
Buen juego
Fighting is satisfying. Moving, jumping is smooth. Art is ok. It would be a great game if it is continued to develop.
Very fun 2d metroidvania, combat feels super smooth, parry windows are quite generous, but not too much, high-octane battles, decent variety of mobs and locations. The only small downside is the playthrough time, I 100% the game within 7 hours, I think the game could be at least 3-4 hours longer, but I don't wanna complain too much about it, it's clear that the game budget doesn't allow such luxury. Overall, solid game, wish the devs the best with their future endeavours (hopefully we'll see more games from them)
GAme is good but barely a recomendation. It is very short ( 5h) Exploration is moderate Combat is good .Most bosses are very easy , but last boss is hard Game seems incomplete , very rushed .
The only real criticism is that it's too short and therefore doesn't have enough content in it to challenge the player to really explore the different "build" options. It's a fun game that ended before I really got a chance to "master" the mechanics.
I had a good time with this one. The combat and movement feel really polished. And the game respects your time. There are no long boss runs and you can unlock a skill early on to enable fast travel from any point on the map to any rest point. It can be challenging but isn’t brutal or punishing. I spent 11 hours on a pretty chill and thorough play through.
