About
An outside threat reaches your homeland, a quiet northern island. You play as Fjør, a young warrior among those born under the Fate of the Guardian, blessed with exceptional combat prowess. But that alone is not enough to defeat the invaders and protect what's sacred to your people.
Walking the path of a Warden, explore the island above and below the surface: forgotten caves and ominous forests, gloomy catacombs and sacred ruins, where you shall fight hordes of monsters, discover well-hidden secrets and harness ancestral legacy.
Inspired by the best of the hack-and-slash genre, Divinum has a wide range of options to master and experiment with. Launch enemies into the air, where they are unable to act or escape while Fjør gains access to unique moves. Unleash unstoppable combos with two distinct primary weapons and special skills. Leave your foes no chance with quick dodges, blocks, and parries.
Explore the world, look for secrets and fight bosses to find Runes that meaningfully change how you fight. A +5% damage item? You won't find anything this boring in Divinum. Runes can provide anything from solid unique bonuses to modifiers that can completely change how you approach battles — but great power often comes with trade-offs.
Across the island, dangerous trials and ancient evil await you. Conquer them all and claim generous rewards!

This is the Definition of meh. The only standout feature is the combat. It is fast and flows quite well but the rest is nothing special. It is basically linear with minimal Backtracking so i would not even call it a Metroidvania. The enemy varirty is lacking and it is very short. I basically everything except for farming 20000 Money in 7 hours which includes farming for the items in the shops and like 45 minutes of being AFK. The platforming gets kind of interesting immediatly before the game ends but thats it. The game is kinda just a waste of time. Buy it for like 8€ max
Jeu qui aurait pu être sympa, de bonnes idées, un gameplay fluide et fun MAIS: - ambiance pas travaillée - trop d'ennemis a la fois qui rendent les combats confus, brouillon
The game has one of the best combat feels of any in recent memory. Love the flow of combat, but the game is somewhat short. Worth it just for the combat!
Played the entire game, beat every challenge, collected all skills, every rune, heart piece, and mana piece. Beat all the bosses and the gauntlet except for the final boss. which is over powered and needs adjustment. Fought him with several different builds and setups and get a little past halfway when he completely destroys my health bar. Other than that its fun and frustrating game and might play it again and change my review if they fix it.
This game has absolutely gorgeous pixel art and smooth combat, but it falls a little short on content and stage variety. Still a fun experience and if you love fighting game style responsiveness and combos within a metroidvania, then be sure to check this out!

Great game, but after completing it in about 6 hours, I was left wanting a little more.
