Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I discovered this game randomly during Larian's recent sale of their games. It's a genre-crossing game that gives me a ton of mixed vibes; everything from Rome: Total War (due to the army/city building part albeit simplified), to Warcraft III (a controllable avatar in an RTS), to Starcraft II (namely, the interactions between characters, and tech levelling part of it), to RPG's (it's got a political and RPG-esque part of it). It's the game concept equivalent of "throw stuff at a wall and see what sticks". And, somehow? It works. The voice acting is surprisingly good for most of the characters, and the storyline is decent. The political decisions are a bit on-the-nose, but it really gives depth to what would otherwise be a relatively bland RTS, and makes you feel for each individual faction (except for the undead, because they creep me the F out lol... play the campaign to understand why). The biggest weakness in my opinion is that all the maps feel like "skirmishes", and there's no real identity. In fact, some regions share the same battle map despite being geographically very different. It makes the game feel 'samey', and therefore not a huge candidate for replayability - except for the aforementioned story plot. The game can also be cheesed; namely, when you finish each act, you start with a relatively clean slate, with your research points mostly reset. Therefore, it's typically better to capture every single region except for the last capital, park a navy on it (since navies can't capture territories, you can do this to effectively trap the enemy forces there), then unlock every available Dragon and Tech ability before moving on. You can also do this to stockpile cards (an admittedly very cool ability to buff your army, debuff your enemy, and to economically improve your regions) before moving on, as those transfer over. You can do this in an egregious manner so that by the final act, you can literally rush the final capital with an overwhelming navy and win. The final issue is unit balance; some units are great, some units are weak. But the endgame Juggernaut? It's... overwhelming. Although weak to air units, it can make its own air units to counter them. If you pair it with a Zeppelin, it can absolutely crush anything nearby, including most ground units, most naval units, and can also be used to essentially knock out an enemy before it can even act. Despite its numerous shortcomings, I must admit that the game is both unique... and fun. Not one I'll likely replay again and again, but a fun little romp that honestly deserves a much more fleshed out sequel.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Gets repetitive.
This is a game that exceeds in its presentation and roleplaying but sadly it is spoiled by mediocre RTS and strategic part. In this game you play the role of a leader that is faced with not only waging a war but also making important political decisions. Voice acting is excellent and dialogue humoristic and flavory. It is really a shame that a strategic and combat part can't be skipped. In the end the chore of that part of the game makes it feel like a waste of time that I simply can't get through.
Yes, one of the best games I've ever played. It's mechanics are standards but the characters are GREAT and the amount of choice you can have it's awesome. Oh and transforming into a dragon and going into the battlefield yourself to turn the tide against impossible odds is the best feeling ever.
It's a really cool concept, just nothing feels really flushed out. The RTS component just lacks advanced tactics making it a chore just to win. However the ability to become to control a dragon is a really cool idea, but after a few times it quickly looses its novelty.
Recomend, barely. This game have 3 components: - Political game. Choose which advice of the ministers to accept or refuse, and choose your Queen and choose how you will attend her. Each result will afect your popularity which the races, and give small buffs or debuff for the empire. Much of this game charm is here. The dialog and the characters are very good. - The strategical managment of the realm. Its not complex, build buildens, build unitys, research technology, deploy the units in the map to protect places and attack the enemy. Batles can be fighted in the strategic map too: the bigger army, and that who has unitys that counter the enemy will have the advantage. Use generals and cards to use get adicional advantages. The batle is automatically calculated, and who has the bigger advantage wins. - The strategical battle. Here is when you choose to command your army personaly as a Dragon Commander. It sucks. It is the central point of this game, and it sucks. Its very hard to command the various kinds of unitys, choose what to constroy it, and move them across the tatical map. Control them across the map in multiple points demmand a ton of attention. Pay to much attention to one place, and the IA will attack another point while you are distracted. Off course the IA can control many of this tasks at the same time, while you are focused in only one. Yes, you can morph in to a f%%^^g dragon an spread destruction over the enemy. But while you are spiting fire over the enemy, you cant control your army, so it will stay passive or doing your last ordem before turning into dragon mode. You can change back to comand the army if you desire, or if your dragon form is defeated, and is easy as hell to defeat the dragon. The enemy units will shoot fireballs that act like missiles seeking the dragon. Even if you dodge or fly away, it will persue the target for quite some time. Even whit all the dragon skills, I never feel powerful in the dragon form. The dificult to command the army, and the weekness of the dragon makes this strategic batles awfully dificult. A battle that whould be a esay win in strategic mode, for example whit 80% in your favor against 20% to the enemy can be turned in a shamefull disaster in tatical mode. I suppose the right way to fight the strategic mode is to expend most of the time managing the army, and only change to dragon mode in emergency or to do fast raids. And that is sad. I beat the game in history mode, normal dificulty, mostly using strategic batles. Did just a few tatical battle to test the dragon mode, and Im not impressed whit both. But the characters, dialogs and the choices in the political in the political game are very entertaining. All of the ministers are a$h@**es. They almoust always bring insane or egoistical propositions. Thats funny, and almost not a caricature of real politicians. Ah, you can interact whit the generals too. Acording what you choose to let them do, they may reward you with cards to use in battle. They are also a$h@**es. There is the lisard noble, always acting arrogant, the jarhead general who likes only brute force, a tomboy girl that is kind nice and lesbian but is useles, and a feminist (?) general who likes to do rants about how the woman are superior to man and is always angry. Nice that cliking in her dialog again its possible to squip it, and she remain silent if you ignore her. Would be even nicer if there was a option to trow her off the skybase whitout parachutes, but this is enough. Since there no option to give a NEUTRAL avaliation, I go whit a positive one, barelly.
