DIVE or DIE - Children of Rain

Nie spodziewałem się, że ta gra mnie tak wciągnie. Ciekawe mechaniki, niezły klimat i właściwy balans pomiędzy skomplikowaniem a prostotom. Do tego, rewelacyjna rysowana grafika. Bardzo polecam.

"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown." -H.P. Lovecraft Love the theme, disappointed with the execution. The gameplay loop was interesting early, but I was expecting more variance between runs in a game that preaches "failure and death are part of the experience." The Metroid-esque map is just too static to hold up to prolonged play or even a second playthrough. Loot locations are semi-random, but once you find a monster, you can count on that monster being there a second time. That said, your FIRST time in any area is a thrill worthy of Lovecraftian tension and terror. The fifth or tenth is not. The strategy layer feels undercooked in some areas, especially with Expeditions. The player should have more decisions than "Loc A or B"--maybe equipment or another layer. The locations are likewise static and devoid of mystery upon repeated play. The same goes for random events, which seem to be drawn from a bucket of ten total, which gets old FAST. TL;DR: The static map and shallow strategic layer is fun at first but gets familiar too quick--and not in a good way.

Its a great mix of Dave the Diver and Darkest Dungeon. Diving is both scary and relaxing at the same time. The timer is a non-issue if you know how to use the Altar effectively. You can definitely stretch it out as much as you want more than enough to explore the deep.

Solid game, had a fun time although end game got a bit grindy. Would have been interesting with more options and traits for town management

I really enjoy survival games and I love the suspense, this game is most excellent for that with some downtime while you are in town. I find this game relaxing and a little jump scary-ish. Perfect Combo
