Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Sep 3 → 6.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The game has a lot of good ideas but failed to execute them properly. Seems like a budget/time issue mostly. The coolest part is the digivolution and digimon progression system. You can make any digimon into any digimon and you can really minmax the hell out of your digimon's stats. However, I do feel like to really get a strong digimon you need to use the DigiFarm, a passive levelling and stat boosting program, which means you ... can't use your favorite digimon throughout the campaign if you want them to be your strongest. I currently have a bunch of really powerful digimon in my DigiFarm that I don't really like because my favorite digimon are, well, in my party because I want to use them. The battle mechanics are extremely simplistic. Pokemon has more complex battle mechanics and that's saying something. This makes the game very easy. I've been playing on hard with no prior knowledge and I've lost a single battle in 17h of gameplay. I've yet to find a strategy that is better than just "hit harder and faster than your opponent". Difficulty is largely inflated by bloated HP bars. Interacting with NPCs and Digimon through DigiLine, a chat system, is very repetitive and boring. You can't initiate anything, you usually only have one reply option and by hour 10 your digimon are just repeating things to you. Sad because it could have made you bond with your digimon in the DigiFarm a lot more. Character customization is very poor, too. In Cyber Sleuth, the protag's base outfit is so ugly and you can only change the shirt into a variety of pretty lame, mismatched shirts that don't go with the unchangeable pants. At least there's the semi-okay school uniform... There are also so many like shops that take up a lot of the scenery in Tokyo that you can't enter or interact with. It wouldn't be an issue if the game didn't put such a big focus on it. Your digimon will text you that they wanna listen to your favorite music with you so you should bring your favorite CD ... but I can't actually buy any CDs at the CD shop? Like to take control over the game's soundtrack or something? The story is cool, I think. The mystery is fun and definitely the kind of plot with evil megacorps and governments that I like. However, you get distracted by b-plots a lot and at a lot of times it's just ... odd and almost non-sensical. The protag's characterization is odd. Certain NPCs pop up at really odd and hard-to-believe times. Maybe it'd make sense if I played the game further but after 17h I'm thoroughly bored of the game.
Late Last Year, I finished “Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth” and “Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker’s Memory” (along with a great chunk of the Post Games for both of their respective game’s “Campaigns”)! To be a fair more transparent; I finished the main part of this bad puppy. It might be my most played title on my Steam Title in my entire library (in just the span of the past 11 Days 😳). I made an entire Wizard of Oz-style Team with my playable character (I play as the girls when I can because… if ya know me, then that’s why 😇) controlling my Starter Digimon; Palmon (growing from that to a Sunflowmon, to Lilamon, then back to Sunflowmon, and Lilamon again, before finally becoming Rosemon (only to go into “Burst Mode” at the eleventh hour of my Journey) as my “Scarecrow”). I then chose to get a Bukamon for whatever reason (growing into Syakomon for… Reasons 😛, then one of my favorites; Ikkakumon, then Zudomon, back to Ikakkumon, Zudomon, and finally Vikemon (as a “Lion”)), and ToyAgumon to make into a Guardromon, Andromon, Guardromon, and Andromon once more, and a HiAndromon to finish out with (the “Iron Soldier”/“Tin Man” here). I also needed a virus Digimon, so I got Impmon as a lil’ “Fourth/Fifth Ranger” acting as the De Facto “Toto” Growing into Bakemon, Phantomon, Bakemon, and into a Phantomon up to Level 95 (which later turned into Bakemon again, and now is a Lotosmon)! Lineup aside; it did take me three tries to fight the final boss with my ultimate “Hail Mary” being the four aforementioned Digimon with an “11th Hour” MagnaAngemon (now Seraphimon) with The oddball addition of Monzaemon (as a Sakuyamon by the end of my journey) ultimately saving my team by the final stretch 🤭 As for the game itself; I played more hours than I admit I should be proud of (with me playing until Midnight too) and things got very intense at the near end of my fight. Were these 50+ Hours of the past 11 Days ridiculous (including two “Break Days” to avoid heavy addiction early on)? Yes, but was the journey worth it? Absolutely!! 🔥 I recommend playing this bad puppy if you want some peak interactive fiction. It was totally worth the 5 Bucks I got the generous price of for normally a 50 Dollar Game! I didn’t know that it was gonna be one of my favorite games of more recent times (as in the past decade or so), but I loved the entire thing and it got pretty emotional and touching at times. Heck, training was an endurance test for sure, but I built a solid team of ultimately 6 Digimon by my side (with at least two basically saving me in the final battle (with me learning more helping me too))! Five Bucks (from a steam sale that I didn’t know I wanted nor needed me) for a journey that could be with me maybe for years to come!! As far as “Hacker’s Memory”, Another large sum of hours later (after playing the Postgame for “Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth” and the main part of the “Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker’s Memory” Portion); and can honestly say I’ve did both Games from Start to Finish (basically), and can honestly say both titles form a union of one of my Favorite Games of All Time (and by extension, one of the best games in recent memory too (as in this past decade or so))! Buying the 50 Dollar Game on sale while it was 5 Bucks was the best (and maybe worst for all the hours if taken out of personal life to finish it)! Well worth the purchase and you could be the next big fan of the game too!! Very much worth a play and a great storytelling experience too!! My hours of playtime since I’ve finished the main chunk of story (of the core “Cyber Sleuth” portion) went from 50 or so hours to skyrocketing up to 160+ Hours across both titles!! Let me just say if you like Persona or whathaveyou; you will definitely get a kick outta this sugar baby (especially if you liked Digimon as a kid or whenever you were a dedicated fan of the franchise)!!
