Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A tentative yes. The game, despite being old, is interesting and it makes me curious to see the end-of-level cutscene, but there are some issues. Cooper is a jack of all trades, and a master of them all. I could solo every map until level 15 by only throwing knives with this dude and then hide the bodies out of sight. He can silently kill, draw guards' attention and move bodies around... why bother using anyone else? I'm stopping after playing on and off for 3 years, seeing that level 16 is just the map in 15 but in the dark.

You know how sometimes you run into a game you never played back when it came out and you can see it has an interesting premise and interesting mechanics and, though you can deal with the fact that it looks and plays like a really old game because that's what it is, so much time has passed since its day in the sun that trying to play it today is a really rough experience due to needlessly clunky mechanics and design choices? Yeah, this is one of those for me. I tried to give it a chance and I was enjoying my time with it, but ti suddenly became a chore because of the controls and game mechanics. Good thing I got it on sale for like a buck a couple of years ago. Maybe the most recent sequels are a better choice. I have to give it a negative vote despite the fact that I don't doubt it was a great game when it came out.
Played this banger in 2001 and replayed again a couple of times in the first years of 2000. Got the trilogy recently and I'm going to play all of them.
Aquele jogo que envelheceu maravilhosamente.
Juegazoooo, clasico
Just finished the game and I feel very pleased. I usually I prefer mindless run'n'gun shooters to unwind, but this game is so compelling, that I couldn't stop playing. The game is challenging, but not frustratingly so. You have to be smart to outwit the engine and use your characters' special skills and oftentimes combine them to win. You have to use the surroundings and the map conditions to your advantage. Sometimes you need to think deep, but the game allows you to. And in the rare cases it doesn't, F5 (quick save) is your dearest friend. But you have to remember, the graphics are those of a 25 year old game. The great mechanics make up for it though. One of the best games I ever played.
this game is not the best 1. its a stealth based game but the stealth is very wonky, one reason is that sometimes the npcs can just see you through walls or just know where you are for absolutely no reason. 2. the combat is super iffy with the weapons doing a random amount of damage each time, no matter the weapon. 3. reload heavy, this game basically begs you to save and reload a million times to try and get through a level and overall its not the most fun. Ultimately i would suggest thinking carefully on buying this game, just be sure to know what you want out of it. and buy it on sale for when its like 1 dollar.
