The atmosphere is brilliant, but the puzzles are extremely difficult and not enjoyable. Unless you find IQ tests fun, which I don't.

I liked it well enough. Some of the puzzles were a little bit too obscured for my taste, with that old style of "gotta make sure you picked up just the right thing that you need." Even still, the style of manipulating basic computer systems to solve puzzles is always a good time. I found it easier than another game that explore similar concepts, Hypnospace Outlaw, which I admittedly had a hard time navigating. Here I felt like if I just put enough thought process into everything I'd eventually get it. I'm pretty bad at puzzle games but there was never anything that felt entirely too esoteric. I was pretty pleased with the conclusion of the story as well. It's nothing groundbreaking from a character perspective, but I'm never going to be mad at something that explores AI's inability to properly assess human emotion, especially these days. It's a fun time! Not too scary either so if you're worried it'll go too deep down the horror rabbit hole then you'll probably be fine. A few graphic images here and there but nothing entirely offputting.

Great puzzles, excellent atmosphere, good story, addictive. If you like a good mystery and solving puzzles, playing this is a great way to do those things.

Genuinely one of my favorite and emotional games I've played for a while. Although certain puzzles do lack some explanation, and certain stuff could be tuned in that sense, the game ran great on my crappy computer, and had fantastic foreshadowing and emotional beats, as well as music perfectly accenting the steps. I look forward to what the development team has next in store.
