Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 11.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

No controller support for mac os users super annoying. was excited to play but its a nightmare on keyboard. been a prob for years devs musnt care 1 star
very sad, I lost a ton of my progress randomly, i still have all my lux gear though i reached ridges but for some weird reason i cant play any of the career plus worlds anymore, i especially liked doing freeride on ridges since its my fav map alongside volcano, really sad and it kind of makes me want to quit but the game overall is great
Recommended I bought Descenders a while back on my Xbox and instantly installed it on my pc because I wanted a casual biking game. Instead, I got one of the most addictive “just one more run” games I’ve played in a long time. The physics are what make this game special. At first, they feel awkward and unforgiving, but once you learn how to control your speed, land jumps properly, and throw tricks without sending yourself face-first into a tree, everything starts to click. Pulling off a clean run through an entire trail feels incredibly rewarding. I also love that every run is different. The procedurally generated tracks keep things fresh, so you’re never just memorizing the same course over and over. Some runs are smooth and relaxing, while others have you desperately trying to recover after overshooting a jump and somehow surviving. The soundtrack deserves a mention too. The drum-and-bass music fits the pace of the game perfectly and somehow makes bombing down a mountain at full speed even more satisfying. It turns every successful run into an adrenaline rush. The game’s downhill freeriding, procedural tracks, and physics-based controls are exactly what keep me coming back. (Steam Store) That said, the game definitely has a learning curve. You’re going to crash—a lot. Sometimes it feels like the game is out to humble you, especially when you’re close to finishing a perfect run. But that’s also what makes finally reaching the end so satisfying. It’s not trying to be a hardcore mountain biking simulator, and it’s not a mindless arcade racer either. It sits somewhere in the middle, giving you enough freedom to play however you want while still rewarding skill and practice. I’ve played plenty of racing games, but very few capture the feeling of momentum and flow as well as Descenders. Whether I’m chasing high scores, trying new tricks, or just cruising through the trails, I always end up playing longer than I planned. Hours played: “I’ll stop after this run.” (Three hours later…) Would I recommend it? Absolutely. If you enjoy games that reward practice and make every successful run feel earned, Descenders is an easy recommendation.
