I didn't know I needed a game like this. The trick system behaves somewhat like the Skate games in which your right stick movement directly influences your train's aerial movement, so you'll end up tasked with fighting game-esque inputs to do tricks; this system is tuned to be extremely forgiving though and you'll be rewarded for doing literally whatever with the right stick. Now set the rest of the game on a track-switching, rail-grinding, wall-running, tether-swinging rollerocaster. Denshattack does not pull its punches with how frantic the pace can become, and additional stage mechanics learned through the story progression add to the stack of abilities and obstacles, enough that I felt like I was just about at my limit by the time the game established its last gimmick for the tail end of the game. The story is simplistic and charming; your protagonist is essentially Goku if they had train autism instead of fight autism, and as your crew grows in number, more and more characters give you [mostly] encouraging one-liners during the 1-second-long reset screen that happens whenever you fall off course. Additionally, the OST for this game is absurdly stacked with skilled contributors. What do Sonic Mania, Sonic R, Jet Set Radio, Splatoon, Mario Kart, Persona, Ridge Racer, Tekken and Daytona USA all have in common? Core creators for each of these games OSTs have been brought together to give Denshattack its stellar soundtrack. Hideki Naganuma must've been busy working on music for the upcoming Jet Set Radio, because his sound would've fit right in amongst the rest of these greats. My only legitimate complaint is that some slopes combined with the dimensions of some of the trains you can ride can end up obscuring upcoming hazards given the fixed camera angle, but this isn't a frequent issue. If this looks even slightly interesting to you, give the demo a try. Also its only 20$, that's less than it would cost to feed yourself at a sitdown restauraunt.

С какого-то момента ты начинаешь кайфовать от невероятно крутой музыки и неимоверно легкого прохождения чудесных трасс, но что-то с каждым новым заданием начинает потихоньку меняться. И вот ты уже выходишь с очередной миссии не радостный и воодушевленный, как прежде, а слегка подуставший и раздражённый с гудящей головой... С какого-то момента игра начинает становиться настоящим хардкором (особенно, если хотите получать золотые медали). Начальные уровни могут показаться простыми, но дальше - расслабиться не получится. Игра топовая, но придётся попотеть.

Trilha sonora divertida com uma gameplay caotica e agitada, daqueles que você entra em um "flow", ou ritmo, e so segue jogando. Muito divertido, subway surface ao contrario com tony hawk e cheio de exageiros e maneirismos.
This game feels like a feverdream, yet somehow everything just clicks together.
Unironically my game of the year, this is a game that oozes the passion and fun that the devs had making it. Its gonna make you go "WHAT" repeatedly throughout the course of playing it, and there's tons of replayability in going back and gold-medaling all the stages and finding all the pickups both for unlocks and deep train lore. Its fast paced but not unplayable for a casual or someone unused to a game like it (there aren't many like it, to be fair) and has tons of room to master every stage and score higher and higher. Also the waifu quality is through the roof, legitimately. I FORGOT TO MENTION THE MUSIC THE MUSIC IS THE BEST PART OF THE ENTIRE THING HOLY LORD ABOVE THE SOUNDTRACK IS BACKED BY SOME OF THE BEST GAME COMPOSERS EVER AND MUSIC GUESTS PLEASE LISTEN TO IT ON SPOTIFY OR SOMEWHERE IF NOT IN GAME Bright, loud, energetic, very fun and unapologetically a video game being a video game instead of a quick over-corporatized soulless cashgrab and I one hundred percent recommend it to literally anyone. If you don't like Emi I sincerely hope you get well soon.
