Demon Pit is an intense arcade-style arena shooter with a classic 90s FPS aesthetic. Test your reflexes against the endless waves of the demon horde in a constantly changing arena. Your goal is a high score on the leaderboard, the price is your soul. Far from God’s light, there is only Hell.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I only played about twenty minutes but there is already more than enough to say about the gameplay. First off, the FPS is locked to 60 and to my knowledge nobody has figured out how to lift the cap. On top of that, the optimization is so bad that even though the graphics remind you of boomer shooters, sometimes it dips below 30 FPS which is completely inexcusable for a game this modern. The crosshair is poorly visible, the HUD is microscopic if you run 4K and the desktop cursor sometimes shows up in the game. Then there's the actual gameplay. The biggest problem is that it's just boring, tedious and unsatisfactory. The enemy AI is brainless, enemies are too few yet too tanky (two close double barrel shotgun shots often fail to take out a single gunner enemy), grenades do not explode on impact, you're not given enough ammo in the later waves so you end up having to shoot everything with your pistol, the blue plasma gun has projectiles that curve if you move, lava pits are a complete noob trap because you have no idea which waves are going to have them, etc. There is nothing new under the sun here, just a mediocre wave-based arena shooter with bad optimization and boring gameplay. Save your money.

It's not really all that enjoyable, especially due to the low framerate (on my 4070, mind you), barely readable visuals (too much red) and just "meh" controls. The music is cool, though.
Movement is way too fast for decent character control. Even with mouse sensitivity at minimum, getting through stages where you need to stay mostly airborne is stupidly hard. If you're looking for something to blast and just relax, this game ain't it.
2/10. Every aspect of this game is C grade or worse, and definitely not worth the 60 cents I paid for it. There is only one "arena" and it's basically a large square. It does change a little between waves, with platforms rising up or down, but pretty much you just run around in a big circle avoiding the bad guys chasing you while taking pot shots behind you. There's precious little cover, but only the shotgun has any kind of reload time so I guess that doesn't matter. The enemies are kind of dull - all pursue you in a mindless zombie kind of way, rather than having any kind of movement pattern on their own. When you die you always start over on on wave one, so even if much later waves were more interesting, you'll spend all your time working thru the same set of boring and self-similar waves first. And finally, the game-pad controls are the worst. While rightly noting that gamepad players need some aim assist, the actual implementation is that your cross-hairs constantly move on their own, and often fairly quickly, to lock on to whichever bad guy happens to be closest to your cross-hairs. If you had any ideas of your own about who you wanted to aim at, too bad. The right way to do aim assist is a large hit box, not controlling where you look and shoot for you. The only novel point is that you have a grapple hook which allows you to launch yourself around the arena super quick. But as soon as you are pulled into the air the movement gets real "floaty" like moving thru water with a lot of momentum. Not fun to control. at all.
Good solid gameplay with good controls and feel with the shooting
Too many run ending bugs and capped at 60fps.
