Never lose hope in outer space
Deliver Us The Moon immediately feels like a game with a clear vision. You can see it in the atmosphere, the story, the gameplay variety, and the overall balance between all these elements. The game creates a strong sense of adventure, mystery, and hope. It starts with the way you reach the Moon. You have to interact with your ship and complete several steps to launch it successfully. Later, you try to stabilize the situation on a space station near the Moon and slowly bring order back. You arrive at the lunar station without knowing what happened there. Gradually, the environment starts giving you clues. Later, a small robot allows you to witness fragments of the important events that led to the disaster. As you understand more about what happened, you also start fixing the consequences of the catastrophe. You restore electricity, reconnect stations, and eventually bring communication back to Earth. These moments create a strong feeling of relief. The game keeps mixing adventure, mystery, and hope all the way to the end. You arrive somewhere new, become curious about what happened there, investigate the place, fix its problems, and then move on to another unknown location. The story itself didn’t catch my attention from the first minutes. However, the clues are closely connected to the events that happened on each station, and at some point I didn’t even notice when I started listening carefully to every dialogue. Letters and recorded conversations can easily feel like a lazy way to deliver exposition, especially because almost every game uses them. Here, however, the desire to understand the reason behind the catastrophe works together with the local stories of each station. You rarely feel like you are wasting time reading or listening to something completely unrelated to the place around you. The logs nail it because they rarely feel detached from the environment. Most of them explain the disaster that you are currently walking through. The greatest strength of the game is how constantly the gameplay changes and puts the player into different situations. It reminds me a little of the level design in Half-Life 2, where almost every level introduces different missions, weapons, enemies, or goals. Deliver Us The Moon is obviously a completely different genre, but I found myself getting into a similar flow. For example, the opening makes you manually prepare the spaceship for launch. It almost feels like one of those cooperative games where one player gives instructions while the other presses the correct buttons, except here the game gives you the commands and you take the role of the second player. Later, you reach the station and enter zero-gravity sections, where movement works completely differently from what you are used to on Earth. Soon after that, the game introduces limited oxygen. Then your planned landing goes wrong and you have to improvise to get back into the station. After landing, you meet the small robot, which first needs to be repaired. You search for the required materials and then put the parts together in the correct order and at the right angle on a workbench. Later, just like Half-Life 2 sometimes gives you a vehicle to change the pace of the game, Deliver Us The Moon gives you one to travel across larger distances. After the arrival you have to leave the vehicle and rush to the top of the tower before your oxygen runs out to reconnect the stations. Deliver Us The Moon constantly introduces new setups throughout the playthrough. Most of these mechanics are not especially innovative on their own, but the way the game keeps changing situations makes them feel fresh and incredibly engaging to me. Overall, Deliver Us The Moon rarely challenges the player mechanically. There are no especially difficult puzzles, complicated mazes, or mini-games that make you stop for half an hour and seriously think about the solution. Most of the problems come from understanding where to go next. However, I think making the game significantly more difficult would actually make it worse. The amount of different situations brings more enjoyment than sitting in front of a difficult puzzle for thirty minutes every time just to make the game longer. Deliver Us The Moon feels like it was designed as a concentrated and varied adventure that you can finish in one day. Not every puzzle-adventure needs to be Portal, where the entire game is built around deeply exploring one central mechanic. If you want to try a relatively short game — it took me almost five hours — that feels innovative in some ways and is not just another Journey-style experience, then Deliver Us The Moon is definitely worth trying.

The game is a masterpiece. A lonely moonwalk on a deserted moon space station sometimes remind us that all those people who sacrifice their life to protect us from bad things. I recommend everyone to play this game.

太爽了
9/10, the game overall has a really good storytelling from start to end, even each chapter combined seems not to be a "huge" game, yet the experience offered, the loneliness encompassed, the journey went through are all very exciting. Will be better if the story itself is longer and the optimization is better. Overall, this game offers a good aerospace experience especially from both visual and sound perspectives, 100% recommend for experience the game yourself!
Прекрасная игра на один раз. Атмосфера космоса, одиночества и немного тайн - все прекрасно. Однозначно рекомендую, не пожалеете

Story is compelling, graphics are beautiful, gameplay is light but engaging, puzzles aren't too complicated. Story, visuals, and performances really take center stage throughout and all are masterfully done. Level design is great, not too complicated and everything plays logically. I'll say, it took about 3/4s of the game before I figured out I wasn't playing a woman. I don't know why, that's just the vibe I had the whole time and was kind of disappointed when I learned I wasn't playing a woman. But that's really not a big deal. I had a great time with it, it's emotional and it's engaging. I'm likely to play it again. You should play this!
Truly excellent.
