Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.43/day in the week to Sep 11 → 59.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've nearly 100%ed this game on Epic since it was free, then got gifted it here, which is why I don't have much playtime on this account. When I say this is one of the best games I think we'll ever see come out of the human race, I mean it. I've never played something so beautiful, so heart-warming, and so calming. It's this sort of game that really changes you as a person.
Thought it was just a meme walking simulator. It kinda is. But it's also the most chill, weird, beautiful game I've played in years. WoW! I am easily distracted but this just had me! Story makes zero sense until it hits you like a truck at the end. Soundtrack while delivering in the rain goes SO hard. 10/10 would strand again.

Started out thinking I was hiking to solve small problems, ended out fighting the local nepo nihilist twink knee deep in eternity. 10/10, this game helped with my existential depression. Never crashed, never stuttered, definitely one of the most heartfelt stories from the illustrious man himself, Hideo Kojima.
PS: Kojima Absolute Cinema
Death stranding is one of the most beautiful games its definitely more then just a walking simulator it takes time to truly understand the story I do recommend this game alot.
Death Stranding is a great poster child for game design that refuses to give players options. At various points throughout the story, there are unskippable stealth sequences, during which the player cannot save at any time. Eventually the player is handed weapons to deal with these sequences, as an alternative to stealth gameplay. Great! And then the weapons are promptly invalidated just a few hours of gameplay later. If I wanted to deal with stealth gameplay I would gladly do so. But I do not, and yet the tools to bypass these sequences and continue enjoying the admittedly gorgeous world are constantly snatched away. Want to see what's around that next corner? Too bad. Use stealth or quit. I just don't find stealth fun, so I quit.
